I don't know if any of you guys remember this, but I've been trying to remember what they were called for yeeeears. When I was a little kid, they came out with a talking watch...each colour was a different personality. So the blue one was "cool" and it would tell you the time in a surfer voice and say "dude" afterwards. Then the red one would shout the time and sound all angry. The yellow one would talk really enthusiastically, etc. I used to love that thing! It'd be greatly appreciated if you guys had any leads. That **** was annoying as hell, but so entertaining...

Here's another, and my favourite, Marathon MSAR. Couple cool details about the watch. Special edition contracted by the Canadian military, this is #149/500. Marathon is a Canadian company, located right here in Richmond Hill, watch is swiss made however (realistically likely chinese manufactured, final assembly in Switzerland). The red maple leaf looks to be a piece of anodized aluminum, really nice detail. They also have a really nice bracelet with a maple leaf on the clasp, but I haven't gotten around to dropping the $170 on it. It used to be that you couldn't buy a watch directly from Marathon unless you were military, fire, or police. Looks like that's changed though as they have a shopping cart on their site now.

I remember these. I think my sisters may have had some. If they did, there's probably one in my basement somewhere (my mother doesn't throw out anything from our childhood).

Is that a knock off?
No offense as it could very well be the camera but there are a few things that make me wonder.
I love the tritium lume on my Marathon, glows all the time and it's radioactive, Marathon even has a little radioactive symbol on the dial. Ball goes a bit overboard in my opinion though, I'd rather have just illuminated hour markers instead of the full numbers, a bit too busy with all the tritium Ball has on the dial. That said, the Spacemaster has an absolutely gorgeous case and bracelet. There was one on WUS a little while ago for around $1600, seriously debated picking it up
They have options that are less over the top. I like all the glowy stuff and different colours, lol.
