It's not only drugs...
Suffice it to say there re some pretty messed up cultures/sub-cultures within our society.
You wouldn't believe the stuff some people believe is perfectly normal and acceptable with regards to raising children.
Sadly I would. Home schooling comes instantly to mind. Indoctrinating a child in your religion so they know who they are supposed to hate is also right up there. I'm seeing both these first hand from my noodle headed nephew. (eldest daughter is soooo messed up)

That describes the wildest chick I ever met. "I want to have as much fun as I can before Jesus comes."

Fortunately she did meet a guy that calmed her down.

Control freak parents that are members of the Dunning Kruger society get heir kids off to a bad start. Teachers that use their authority to influence instead of teach are another problem.

Not sure if he deserves this or not?

That's just a small clip of the beating.. it went on for some time. The guy was handcuffed behind his back the entire time... never made an attempt to fight back.. he couldn't.
Those guards were doing it regularly.. they're known as 'the beat up squad'.. multiple of those guards are involved in multiple lawsuits for the same thing..

Resign. Go to the next county and apply there, a.k.a. Lather, Rinse, Repeat.
Fortunately this is slowly going away, with State and Federal law enforcement registries. Some still slip through the cracks, or find employment with backwater agencies.

1v1 they likely wouldnt stand a chance against him.
Wonder what he was in for.

Edit: "Brooks had been imprisoned since 2017 on a 12-year sentence for first-degree assault involving a longtime girlfriend."
"The Greece man who stabbed his long-time girlfriend in the chest, neck, side and back was sentenced Friday."

The only information that I could find stated "first degree assault" and that he had just been transferred into that facility, shortly before the beating.

No doubt that Brooks is a piece of ****.. but that doesn't make what happened to him right.
When you watch the videos and how nonchalant they all are about it.. you know it happens regularly.

Cop has a hair trigger.

And short man syndrome: " The defendant is approximately 5’6″ and weighs between 185 and 195 pounds"

Honestly, the interaction went fairly well until that hand tap at the 6 second mark in the video above. If I was a cop that would catch me off-guard as well. I wouldnt slam him to the ground but definitely still arrest him. Perhaps their Auditor General is right - maybe it IS how their police force is trained for takedowns...

I doubt the old man is going to recover well from those type of bone and brain injuries. At this point may as well let him slip into the after life rather than try and keep him alive and suffering every day.

I had to look again. I thought there was a hand tap but wasn't sure. Cultural differences can cause problems.

Here, touching a gang member would get the same response. An innocent guy got beaten to death in Hamilton for touching a gangsta in an attempt to defuse a situation.

Vu broke a lot of rules and the hand tap and shut up triggered the response. The cop should have ordered Vu to back off and put his hands behind his back. Instead he went ape.

Beware of cultural differences.

Sadly this is also how school boards deal with bad teachers.
Only the ones who have been employed forever, before getting in trouble. The number of trained teachers who are waiting for a position to open is staggering.
