So if you got a memo from work like that you'd assume you're guilty with the rest regardless? Or take that as a "you've been warned"?

If if 4 or 5 employees out of 1000 are showing up late chronically, you address it with them individually. If 300 employees out of 1000 are showing up late chronically, you address all the employees as a group. If you're one of the 700 that shows up on time every day, you say to yourself that doesn't apply to me, and it's about time they cracked down. Why is that such a difficult concept to understand?

Not in a union shop, you don't. You issue a blanket statement.

Then you hire the 3-4 replacements and start to systematically document the 3-4 bad eggs at every chance and listen to the steward wax poetic about how "the Man" is leaning on his workers. Spend three years hearing greivances and paying the company lawyer to tell you "not yet". Because 3-4 guys cant show up and the line runs slow till they clock in.
Been down this road, you pray they are actually stealing (more than clock time) so you can speed the process.

Sounds about right.

It was a question for Steve.

This exactly. I'm undergoing a process like this right now and I don't even HAVE a union in my businesses. Issuing a blanket statement is full of problems too... probably in morale. Some people take this kind of thing as a challenge,

did you even watch the video? there was no rape.
female gets arrested for disorderly conduct. enters the jail system and gets stripped searched just like everyone else. refuses. the 4 females searching her cant handle her resisting so 2 men have to assist the females which is what happens when there arent enough females around to do it.

only bad part about it was leaving her naked but the news doesnt go into why.

I guess the statement came from the woman's comment that she "felt like" she had been raped.

She discovered numerous individuals in the Bosnian and UN police (which was made up of some 1,800 officers from 45 countries) who were not only using trafficked prostitutes but were on the traffickers’ pay-roll.

They were paid to give warnings on raids, return girls who escaped or, when rescued girls were repatriated ('dumped somewhere on the border’, according to Bolkovac), let the traffickers know where they could collect them so they could be 'recycled back into the system.
