Then don't. Who cares about something that happened last Aug. to two thugs in NYC who were no benefit to their community.

I don't have beef. But the thread also says "the good"

Or did I read that wrong too?

Bc apparently. Attention to detail is your strong suit.

Ya, no beef. Admonishing someone for posting that video. Is the "killer cop" a good cop? I don't see it. Is it in the details? This is tiresome. Pick a fight where one is warranted.

Don't agree about the death. But really. If you don't do something wrong. Then they have no reason to bother you. Weird concept lol

If you read back a couple dozen pages, you will see there was a challenge issued, and i'm keeping my promise.
We can easily find one story a day, and it's only getting worse.
There should be ZERO tolerance for the police to behave unprofessionally, period.
As i've said before, i've hired doormen from professional security companies, and those guys are so well trained, they should be teaching the cops.
Courteous and polite, even when being belittled, threatened, and even attacked.
They did what was necessary to get the job done, without emotion, all business, and i've witnessed some pretty violent scenes.

Now back to the post in question > Sure, they're friggin hooligans, committed the horrendous crime of riding a dirtbike around, whoopdeedoo, people used to do that without hassle back in the days when the cops were busy responding to real crimes. Look at the news today, stabbings, shootings etc... they should take 75% of traffic cops and train them to find DANGEROUS criminals, not racking up brownie points and quotas on some dude doing 20 over the limit.
They have their priorities so backwardassed, it's gonna take a miracle to stop this totalitarian regime of poorly trained, robotic, narrow minded young punks they issue badges to.

So, i'm looking forward to the day i can't find a new article to post.
I hope that clarifies things for you.

PS> looks like we got a fender bender happening in this thread, someone call the cops!

so you're ok with cops looking the other way when crooked cops do what they want to do?

I'm ok making the changes in my community that I can. I have to trust my friends and neighbours do the same in theirs.

I think with your knowledge of the topic you should rally for the change you want. Rather than posting daily in a thread that won't get you any of the desired results that you sound like you want to see.

But you'd rather waste that energy proving you're right.

What do I know.

I look forward to tomorrow's article and to see the difference this thread makes

Agree, very tiresome!

well the only way we make changes in a democracy is if everyone speaks, how can everyone speak on the outrages if they don't know that they are happening. to ignore them is to tolerate them.

Ok we have a 55 pg thread of info.

Now what?

Just being the devils advocate and many are getting bent.

Maybe I'm just asking questions to spark some thought? Or motivation?

But others took big offense to that. Guess that's why this thread will just end up going no where. (Hope I'm wrong).

Posting you don't give a crap about someone killed by a cop over a traffic infraction is hardly "sparking thought or motivation". More like
fishing.gif
in a thread you have issues with.

Did it not say "the good, bad and ugly"

When did someone giving an opinion turn into something so wrong? Bc I don't agree with the masses?

You have a problem with officers who have done wrong. What about those who have done and do right? Not much mention of those!

Oh but you're better bc you care about certain situations over others? Yet you as the stand up citizen you are, probably ignore/drove by or didn't notice a homeless person in need, or other opportunities to make things better? But bc it's a story gone wrong with a cop. You turn into the biggest activist.

Are there bad cops, of course. But there's a lot of good ones too.

So many other things to whine about and care about and you pick on the same people that come to your rescue when you do need them.

Whine away, 55 pages later just proves this.

Biking is suppose to be about community. Part of that is with our enforcement agencies. If we got involved and participated in the same community they wouldn't paint all of us with the same brush like we do to them.

It's easy pointing fingers. But it takes a bigger person to point it at themselves and asked what they could be doing different.

Hey, I appreciate a thought provoking troll as much as the next guy but you're very dismissive of the victims and very dismissive of the whole thread. It's cops with cavalier additudes just like that, that lead to such grievous faux pas as grinding people into the pavement.
Yes, right thinking people will get bent.

How many times in my posts did I say I don't agree with the death? A few.

I won't say it again. If you can't read. That's not my problem.

Keep on whining.

I'm going to get the bike ready for a ride.

Stay safe this season

OK, that sheds a little light. I purposely quoted you so there would be no confusion as to what I'm talking about and you come back with this obfuscation. I get it. You have an untenable position and can't admit it. Anything beyond this would just be a personal slag fest so I'm out. Enjoy your ride.

Did you want a pat on the back?

I politely put it to rest bc obviously you have nothing better to do with your time and this is just going in circles and someone needed to put a stop to it.

I even wished you a safe season.

Keep on going man. You're a great example.

I see how this works... two wrongs make a right. Carry on.

OK, that sheds a little light.

Shedding even more light on yourself. Telling me I can't read and to "keep on whining" when I'm doing nothing of the sort is not putting it to rest politely.
Being dismissive of the victims and Agaves' post and insisting the waste of time this thread is clearly shows a lack of understanding.
Every response to your first post was even keeled and level considering what you said. Agave's explanation of what's going on here should have sealed the deal. But no.
This is not a slag, just pointing out the obvious but feel free to continue insulting me.

Lol

In the 90's this **** was happening a little too much and Ice Tea came out with a provoking song called "Cop Killer." He was sick of seeing white cops beating down black America. Then Rodney King. The LA caught fire for a week as the people fought back. Now the cops are taking it to black /white / rich / poor, they don't care who.

Then Ice Tea sold out.
