Kitchener/Waterloo area, c u next trackday riders thread!

I figured you and Dean might be going together again... Dave and Jawad... need a 6th to make it work nicely.

Not really. If 5 of us go in 3 vehicles then 3 of us would need to be hurt before we had issues getting said vehicles home. :)

Although it seems like Randy and I are quite likely to take each other out. LOL I'll hopefully have time to get that footage up for you guys this weekend.

And how about bike transportation? Anyone have the capability to take 3? That's what I was basing my ride arrangement on. 2 bikes/riders per vehicle.

If we get the bikes to the track there will still be room to take them home. :)

Steve has a huge flatbed that he can take like 8 bikes, but it's a bit of a pain in the butt to use as it's not set up for bikes specifically.

Put the deposit down on the motor today. Pick it up June 1 for the install on June 2.
It's an 03 motor with 8600km on the clock. Compression test will be done in the next couple of days.

Started on the bodywork today. Got the tail section pretty much done and ready to be wrapped.

Have the basic fiberglass done on the upper and lowers. Will put on the second layer early tomorrow morning followed by the bondo, sanding and priming.

Going relatively well all in all.. put a tad too much resin on the inside of the upper, but it's OK.

This bodywork's been down quite a few times in it's history as I can tell by the different layers of repairs etc.

Dave - if you end up selling your SV in the fall and going to a 600 for next season, you may have a buyer for the bodywork you've got!!!

LOL If I sell you the bodywork I'll be selling a track bike with no bodywork! :)

For those of you who are interested in name stickers, here's what I've come up with.
Steve, made one for you in case you're interested - let me know.
Randy - didn't hear from you, so I took yours off - if you want it back, I'm sure it can be arranged. ;-)
Cost on these will be about $10 each set with 7 names.

Let me know if you're in or out asap and I'll get them sent out for printing.

I'll take a set. Just make it "Ric" in a rounded sort of script font.

For those interested. I was looking around and found this.
