Kitchener/Waterloo area, c u next trackday riders thread!

we'll see about that... :)

Yea - yellow. I was on the fence with signing up in red... but discovered that its a soar practice weekend, so I expect red will be a little too hot. Plus, it'll give me a chance to dominate.:p

Haha! It's on m-f! As I stated before... all you mo-fo's are toast this season. Toast.
(Seriously - I found out how to use 3rd gear now... so look out):laughing3:

Ever figure out those auto-deploy training wheels for the next time you're riding extra low?

1 - you guys are hilarious.
2 - I can still pass you guys, even in full tumble. Bring it.

Yo Steve - you going to be able to make it to GB? Tim needs someone to lay bread crumbs around the track for him.

Not necessary... I'll just follow the trail of your bike's broken fairing bits... At least that way someone will find you off in the rhubarb...

Are you kidding?? Now is the time! Smack it up! haha

I've got the perfect bike for smack talk. If I lose I have lots of excuses. If I win, well, you got beat by a beginner bike! LOL

Lol that's true ... I never thought of that angle. I figured I'd at least get one track day under my belt before I started chirpin lol. Ok Tim its on... Better not let the new guy whoop you the first time at the track ??if you want we can go early and see if we can get some track time and I'll teach you how to ride lol

Bring it... just be sure not to run over the trail of parts Dean will be leaving me on the track...
We'll see who's butt is fatter (and therefore slower) -- SV1000s for both of us, so we're evenly matched that way (but I'm still prettier by far.. hehehe)

Well I think I win in the weight game lol are u putting the metzlers (???) on the sv? I'm assuming they're a track tire?

if this is your first track day, your in for a great experience with a good group to show you the ropes. The first one is always the most exhilarating. I'll warn you though, street riding won't be quite as fun anymore. Its a drug and an addictive one.

since your doing your first time, one other thing to mention, read over the tech sheet real carefully, make sure you have met all the criteria. If your not sure, ask here. Make sure you bring a rear stand, GBM requires zip tied kick stands and your running water only (a coolant flush takes multiple times, i usually do 4 or 5 good flushes before all of the coolant is gone and nothing but water is coming out, make sure to get your bike hot enough that the thermostat opens, this temperature will be in your service manual). Make sure to drain the resevoir as well and fill with water.

Have fun out there!

Have Metzeler K3 Racetech tires on now... putting on the M3's when these are toast.

So I am new to riding in Canada. Is Mosport the closest track from Toronto? I've done a couple pf track-days in the past and can't wait to do it again...

Inquired about track configurations...
Got an email back saying that SOAR is doing that part of the deal, but they've informed GB they will be running 4 different configurations over the weekend. Half day on each.
