Nice. Booked the day off pending weather a few weeks ago.
Anyone else going?

I had a blast GB long track! Much better than TMP IMO.

I love the back right carousel

I also have the day booked off, so ready to go if it's nice.

Nick, yeah the carousel is great. So smooth and fast. I like the left onto the front straight too. Can rail it like crazy.

What do you guys use to get your bikes to the track? I need to get a suit still, but I'm planning ahead here :)

There are a few trailers in the kw group. Usually you chip in for gas etc. and we sort things out a few days before the track day. When in doubt uhaul rents bike trailers for 20/day I believe.

Sounds like I need to make some new friends here :love6:

If you're getting into track. Def a great group. Made my experience last week awesome! And who could ask for a better group of friends.

I'm working at getting into it, I'm slowly collecting the gear, and I have to do some bike maintenance (fork service, chain replacement, CCT adjustment, etc). More importantly, the money to do all of this, heh.

Is there a place in town that you can work on your bike? I used to be able to do some basic stuff in my parking lot, but my new apartment building doesn't like it very much =/.

Some automatic cct can be adjusted. I adjusted mine on my zx6 with a 8 mm wrench

Dave- for the life of me I can't think of the left onto the straight

The left after the long right carousel. Pylons on the left of the track, a bit of a frost heave in the middle, and a lot faster than most people seem to take it. Take a look.

Which config do they normally run on racer5 days?

They usually run whatever config is coming up on the following SOAR weekend. It's always different.

Mine is a manual one, and it can be done with two wrenches, I just need to take off a bit of the bodywork to do it. Also, I am not 100% sure what I'm doing when adjusting it, heh. Online guides don't seem very consistent :(.
