Yep, that camera does suck balls, but it's better than nothing. If you can do it, get a better picture of your bike at that lighthouse with the bike off-set and do a colour extract on everything but red. Creates a great effect like the one below:

I went out on Saturday for a bit. So nice to get back out there. First real ride I've had since I crashed back in October. Not including when the repairs were done and I rode home from the dealer. ;)

Can't wait for the spring!!! :)

Holy crap, I just rode to the gas station and almost dumped twice due to cold tires and damp road. Did a massive fish tail and skidded the front tire. Into storage it goes until it's 15º.

what bike you riding?? Probably too much power...I rode my 250 to work and back, didn't lose traction at all...

Cold tires , **** all over the roads, drivers not looking for bikes, cold weather, **** all over the bike, wearing 4 layers of clothing.....I'll pass. It's not worth it.
For those who ride in this weather , be extra carfull , my buddy dumped at the end of his driveway on sat.

Can that bike even loose traction?

yep, had it happen a bunch of times...

today wasn't that bad. yea, there was **** on the roads but temperature was perfectly fine with my Under Armour and only 15 minute ride. My bike was already a bit dirty from last weekend, so now it'll get a nice wash and a week or two's rest.

if I posted up our go pro ride at the forks last saturday, in the wet, you'll **** yourself...if you're talking about dumping it on your own driveway.

What part of that post said anything about my driveway?

It's in Oakville.

Google Lakeside Park. There are 2 wharfs, the one on the right has the lighthouse (which for some reason google has tagged as "Jay the Painter"'s location. I just rode down Navy St and walked my bike once I reached the first guard.

Also a great place to go fishing.

@Retro, I've had the rear end slide out a few times... definitely not fun. Just gotta make sure to take it extra slow around turns.

I actually ride without heated gear, although that's moreso because I'm still pretty young; my body can take the beating.

Was out last Sunday Jan. 13. Rode from Niagara Region to Forks of the Credit. When I left it was blue sky but as I got closer to the Forks the sky was turning grey.

But hell I drove this far I wasn't about to turn around. Passed a few bikes and while heading up Guelph line found 3 cop cars two of them were set up for speeders. Roads were good, not much on them.

Only saw one bike at the Ice House in Campbellville and didn't see a single bike at the Shed.

I also tried out my GoPro3 that I got for Xmas. I just uploaded it to youtube. Little long but its my first attempt at it. If you have time to kill have a look and leave a comment.

Sabex you've got the right bike for that fun. This was the 40 years early version I rode all winter in Uni. Honda 305 Hawk. Buddy wanted to ride it home one cold night and slid out on the railway tracks outside the Chevy plant in St. Catherines - I winced as I saw the sparks and my ride bouncing over the tracks on it's side.
Picked it up, bent the shifter back into place and I rode it home.
Tougher street bikes then.

Worst trip was from St. Kitts to Fort Erie on the back roads on a day they closed the QEW due to blizzard conditions. Very memorable ride that was.... a few falls and a couple of times not sure I wasn't in some farmers field.

One 5'7" girl in the ST1100 forum tho surprised me ....she rides all year snow or not and has fallen a few times. That's a handful of bike and torque.. Not my cuppa but good on her......and you.
