It's time for a revolution, in the downtown core!

Between your terrible driver video's and now cell phone walking rants, I think it's time you checked in.

More like time I checked out.

Happens a lot out at the bars also, if their also wearing a affliction or tap out shirt its just icing on the cake.

Oh man, don't get me started on the UFC phenomenon. Every ********* now at the bars thinks he's an expert fighter cause he watches TUF and took a total of 2 classes of BJJ.

One of the members here once said to me, "It's a good thing I'm not a sociopath. If I was I could kill a dozen people at one shot, by taking a half step off the corner on a red light."

try walking in markham, the sports car minivan is out to kill us all...my biggest peeve is when crossing a street are the folks that want to turn right at a light don't come to a complete stop and check for pedestrians, or they stop in the intersection...the looks on their face when i punch the window, but the funny thing being is when they ask what my problem is, seriously, look where you stopped, they don't give two *****...

Downtown is the culmination of all the idiocy, that occurs in bits and pieces elsewhere. Drivers do rolling stops, or don't understand that they are supposed to stop BEFORE the thick line. Pedestrians think that if they cross the street 10 metres down from a traffic signal, then it doesn't apply to them. Drivers don't use signals because they're afraid to give anyone else enough warning, that another driver might accelerate to block them. Cyclists charge out on red lights, trusting that the drivers will somehow avoid giving them their lemming-like death wish.

Don't own one. Never have. Never will. My personal phone, which is also my home phone, doesn't even have so much as a camera.

meh, these idiots will not learn until they get hit by something hard. Like a car or a wall.

I think shoulder bump method only works for ppl with bigger body mass.

um...only retard on here is you, nothing wrong with owning a smart phone, just there is a time and place to use it...alas i own no apple products, well, not current, i still have an old newton in the back of the closet somewhere...

You realize thats completely not the same thing right?

Rob is talking about the workday, with everyone, cars, people, trucks, couriers. being complete ********* and you need to plant your shoulder into people to send a message across.

Laid the shoulder into Joe Bowen at Markdale Mall 20 years ago during Christmas rush. Coming straight at me, wasn't watching where he was going, and I wasn't in the mood to Play Dodge the Oblivious. It was warmish, and I was wearing my Dainese jacket with armour in it. Didn't feel a thing.

Gotta keep your head up when you're cutting across the neutral zone, Joe.

You can pick out the real fans in the crowds real quick.

Haha, best post so far. Toronto is indeed the nexus of oblivious inconsiderates and useless Bros. The icing that's on top of the icing on the cake.

if youre not able to switch your eyes off the phone for a millisecond, you fail at life...

if you're ADD i can kinda understand though

it's not just downtown, and not just ontario or canada. airports are particularly bad for this. i have sharpened my elbows and leaned into some people with my shoulders if i know that they need to get the message--this is not your personal walkway--share the bloody sidewalk/path, and pay attention. . .

And what's the deal with those idiots just standing around blocking the way. Still remember, coming off the plane, after a 3 week field job up north, tired, sick (bronchitis), clothes almost hard from a mix of sweat and bug juice, dragging a large suitcase with each hand, 2 backpacks on the back and these 2 dumbass yuppies in full on monkey-suits decided to block the exit at arrivals. They picked a bad time to do it.. Busted right through them and got both guys' expensive designer shoes dirty by running over them, while saying "excuse me".. They didn't even apologize back :D

can OP not just walk around? what is the big deal? lol

Gaggle of three people on my left.

Vacant cell phone zombie on the right.

Nowhere to walk around.

This is the reality, that is known as downtown Toronto.

... and should I have to walk around, because people are antisocial morons who feel that the rest of the world must get out of their way?
