I'm OUT!

For someone who's not scared, you sure seem to indicate otherwise in your OP and sig.

If the recent deaths got to you, u never had the nerve to begin with and it's a good thing u quit before u became a statistic.

Yeah real mature, instead of just quitting riding....To be mature about it you must make a post about it here, change your signature to list all your bikes as SOLD, and have a cool signature like this "I'm done putting my life on the line. I have too much to loose"...Like everyone needs to know because your the most important rider in the GTA, what other sites have you notified...LOL.....What are you after, sympathy posts? "Sorry to hear that we will miss you dearly and I will kept you in my heart every time I ride"....

Just quit and dont let the door hit you in the *** on the way out...

Bwahahahahahahahaha!!! Exactly!!

Oh and do watch out for those doors, cuz i read recently that someone got killed cuz they got caught in a door! Just sayin! You may want to quit walking through doors!
Can you say......... P........................Y!!!!

I sold my bike and I'm out of the scene. Please ride safe out there. Too many people dying lately!!

2006 Suzuki GSXR 600 (SOLD)
2004 Suzuki GS500F (SOLD)

I'm done putting my life on the line. I have too much to loose

I am sorry that you decided on this course of action. For various reasons I gave up motorcycling and picked it up again after a 25 year hiatus. We all have a lot to lose, and this like any other year has not been good for rider fatalities. However, I have never felt as alive as I do now.

OP: I respect your decision regardless of what it is, or why...whatever..it's yours to make...so kudos to you for MAKING a decision...however, what I don't understand at all...is why then start a thread on it? This is a "forum"...meant for discussions, comments, and opinions...if you've already made a decision, why announce it to a bunch of usernames you've never met or don't know?

Only reason I can think of was pointed out by someone else....sympathy posts? attention to ask for you to stay in the riding community?

I'm not knockin' your decision to stop riding, just don't understand the logic in posting a statement about your decision.

GTAM is to the internet what Seinfeld was to sitcoms; a forum about nothing.

I'm gonna have to agree with johnnyp... you did change your signature to something very LOUD. That's just inviting flaming.

One the upside, you are indeed getting the attention you craved...

Next year is going to be my last year for motorcycling on the street going to covert my street to a track only. I moved to Mississauga and I'm commuting to Toronto everyday, QEW is to dangerous, to many people not paying attention on the road.

The bad thing about track only riding is you'll get to ride like what? 2 to 3 times (days) per year? What's the point? Might as well give up on riding completely. Not just you but I am talking about everybody who wants to do track only.

I feel you bro. When my kids were bornni gave it up for a few years too, wanted to make sure i was around for them. But I couldn't stay away.Life is to be lived, death is to be expected not feared.

I'd love to add my 2 cents but there has been to many members banned this year and I do not want to be banned so......I'm out.

We all ride for different reasons. My reasons don't mesh well with current laws and road hazards. I'm quite content with track only....three weekends at the track gives me more satisfaction than an entire season on the street. That's just me tho

What a copp out. You don't deserve to ride a bike. You don't think people die every day from other things. Now some young person is going to read this and either not buy a bike or sell theirs cause of your remark. You are only helping to help kill the industry, so in my opinion I'm glad you sold your bike and any view you have from here in on is not worth a penny. Lock your doors, don't go to work, or shopping or anything. Just sit at home watching T.V until you expire. Oh wait how are you going to avoid that? It's going to happen no matter what, don't miss out on life for anything or else you will die full of regrets.
