I Saw You: V.2.0

I was behind you, Snowyeyes, on Dundas today, around 1pm. I was the fool waving at you through my sunroof (in a grey Audi wagon). Hope you had a good ride!

Haha! I thought it was some crazy woman flirting with me!
I was thinking to myself do I really look like a guy on my bike? Maybe I should buy pink leathers than black?

Nice car Anka! Next time I will wave back!

Get out of that Cage ANKA! RIDE!

Hahaha I DID ride today - just came back. But had to drive to Burlington Cycle to pick up a screw for my fairing, which had happened to fall out. I didn't think it would be a good idea to ride there, with a loose piece (right under the seat, only had one screw holding it in place).

Oh - and there was a orange Hyosung just like yours at the Niagara group ride yesterday!

Hahaha, you don't look at all like a guy on the bike, trust! But I knew it was you, so I had to bust open the sunroof and say hello.

Pink leather: HEINOUS!!

Yah, you'll never catch me pink leathers!
Are coming riding tomorrow? If your around
Burlington, message me. I finish work at 630pm.

You: Suzuki RG500 or similar with a newer all-red fairing on it. Only sticker on it was a small black "Suzuki" sticker on the rear section. Riding squid with a black/red/yellow helmet.

Me: The shiny black SUV that you cut off.

Sunday at 7:45pm westbound on Queens Quay just west of the harbour. You pulled a u-turn in front of oncoming traffic that had to brake hard to avoid you, then cut me off, lane splitted two vehicles, then cut two more cars off only to slam on your brakes and turn into the entranceway to a parking lot where you blocked the sidewalk to pedestrians walking by for the tall ships. Then for what seemed like no apparent reason you start revving your engine like mad in front of pedestrians. My gf in the passenger seat keeps me calm at times like that but you're a *********.

You: blue Suzuki Katana

Me: Black BMW M3

Where: Highway 401 express, eastbound passing Leslie.

What: I cut you off by accident (you were speeding, but i wasn't paying attention like I should've). My apologies :(

To the lady on the white sports bike with whom I was playing leapfrog on the eastboud QEW at around 7am today: too bad you got sick of the stop and go and jumped off at Hurontario, the traffic picked right up again less than 500m down the way. Also, don't know what all the other ladies are complaining about regarding not being able to find gear - your jacket looks great.

To the lady on the fully-faired Bandit 1250 on Lakeshore this morning - Otherwise being all black, your bike would be fairly imposing ... if it wasn't for the pink rim tape and jacket. Nicely done!

Car pulled up to the left of me to make a right turn around me at a stop sign.

I have his info, but will not post it out of consideration.

I think you should, just to burn them for their respect towards other drivers and riders

For sure. Because the vast majority of us keep an memorized list of license plates that have ticked other people off.

"Damn you, AYDL 539 for cutting off SpdRDR723 three months ago!"

To Dani Pedrosa (the CBR rider on Old School Rd this morning at 6:30am)

My friend let me just start out by saying thank you for giving me a heart attack to start my morning off just right!

I understand it's fun to wick it up down Old School Rd. now and then, and your rapid progress I have no problem with if that's what floats your boat. Yes I was amazed at how fast you went from a speck in my mirror to BAM, right behind me.

Yes then we both proceeded to pass a couple of cars and dial up corner speeds just a little bit, and then once there was an opening by GOD did you put me into the weeds on the straight. There's where my problem started somewhat. When you went by me at 6:30am in the morning with your I4 on full song, right past all the residential houses - my friend that was just blazing loud! While to me it sounded glorious my problem, and hey I have a pipe on my VFR too, was that because I ride this road everyday to and from work I try to be mindful of my pipe and keep the throttle adjusted accordingly near the residential houses on the road.

Maybe it's just me but I don't want the loud pipe issue to further blacken the eye of the motorcycle community (as it has for most of the dirt areas that I used to ride that have been shutdown) , that's why in most cases I try to exercise some prudence. Believe me I LOVE the sound of basically any motorcycle with a pipe on it, but all I'm saying is enjoy the pipe but exercise some control where it might be appropriate.

Now insert Heart Attack!

After you proceeded to pass me, only to run right up the rear of the pickup truck ahead, you then did something I thought would result in me picking up your carcass of the road - you passed the pickup right in a corner, whereby an oncoming car had to slow down to avoid running you over. Effing scary to watch, especially as it looked like you almost panicked and ran wide. This is the centre of my message - man have fun out there but getting your buzz on is no reason to die for. I know it's exhilarating to wick it up, but honestly man at those speeds you'll have a much better time of it where it belongs....

....on the track. Much more fun, and much better suited to that riding style.
