I Saw You: V.2.0

Female rider on hurontario around Williams pkwy in Brampton. Black bike, pink/purple wheels. Looked nice from what I could see:thumbup:

Sent from my commodore 64 on dial up

How do you know it's a 4-speed? I thought the tranny on the Commando was a always a 5-speed?

Mine was four speed. I am sure none were ever five speeds.

..Tom

Huh. I wonder why the sources I read online stated five speed? Oh well! Obviously actual ownership and experience trumps random articles in this case.

I understand that it's right-hand foot shift. What sort of shifter is it? Up for first and down for 2-4 or down for first and up for 2-4 (like modern bikes)?

Gear shifter - on the right
Brake lever - on the left

Downward - higher gears
Upward - lower gears

Guess, where the ignition switch was? :D Nowhere near the steering.

Caught this cutie going south bound on Bayview around 9pm,

To the dude merging from 401 East onto DVP South yesterday, around 4 pm.
You had your rear turn signals removed and you use hand signals instead. It's cool. Keep in mind though, hand signals ONLY work when a person behind you knows what they mean.

A person who does not know hand signals 1. must be a retard not to understand basic cavemen hand language.... 2. should not even have a driverse license. (learning hand signals is part of both G and M graduated licenses) i know i have both GM. But i know what you mean the MTO gives out drivers licenses to anyone at local convinience stores.

Because you've proven yourself to be a troll, I won't really take this post seriously but as a response, it really comes down to education. If no one ever told you what the hand signals mean, you probably won't know it unless you learned about it or observed other people using it often.

People pass the test without reading the book getting a few questions wrong (I think there was 2 questions on hand signals on the g1 test) and it is obvious that it really isn't all that common seeing people using hand signals. I probably see someone using hand signals once every few months (outside the city).

Not to mention how difficult it would be to see hand signals at night..

Haha, seen that guy before too! I think I saw him on Bayview, north of Sheppard a few weeks back.

Re: I Saw You, Are you on this forum? V.2.0.

Hope the fellow with the smaller cruiser - a Yamaha I think? - stranded on the side of the eastbound 401 just outside of Port Hope found some help. He was walking to the nearby gas station (I was going west, so saw him first, then the bike a few seconds afterwards) so hopefully someone was able to lend a hand.

Also saw an orange vespa on the DVP just south of Lawrence today and I'm pretty sure it wasn't even the 150cc version. That took some cojones, buddy!

Hamilton, about 40 minutes ago (just off Wilson Street): Guy on the ground, cuffed from the looks of it, bike up on the sidewalk (on it's stand) and all of it sandwiched between two police cruisers.... What did you DO???
