I Saw You: V.2.0

Re: ATTN:Red and White Gixxer 600 on Balmuto

To the Gixxer that hooked up with me on guelph line in brookville on Saturday. If you're front wheel is up next to my rear wheel, you are not in staggered formation, you are sharing my lane. If I don't know you, back off!

Re: ATTN:Red and White Gixxer 600 on Balmuto

Most Suzuki's have parking lights. My Sv does and over time the ignition switch becomes worn and it's very easy when trying to lock your stearing and it slips into the parking light position instead.

lol isn't that the last corner/turn before the back stretch/finish line? who won?

I may have counted wrong. They were right after the 1st 90 degree left turn passed the single-lane bridge, at the top of the lil hill.
Lolz, no idea who won...they were stopped. Perhaps taking a leak XD

Black Kawi 636 on Bloor turning left with me to go north on Broadview. Sorry, didn't mean to seem like I was taking off from you, just saw an opening on the right so I went, lol.

Re: ATTN:Red and White Gixxer 600 on Balmuto

Thruxton definitely push starts, which implies the Bonneville and probably the Scrambler as well. Presumably it was to maintain the feel of the old bikes, which I understand could only reliably be started by pushing them.

More seriously, I think it's how you pop the clutch while opening up the throttle, as it took a few times and about 30m.

I saw you two last two weeks ago driving along bovaird in Brampton close to hurontario... You parked your bike in the middle of the left lane, got off your bike and walked to the car behind you while flipping your visor up. You yelled at the moron because you were riding with your buddy who was a new biker & buddy was tailgating you. (and almost rear ended you guys a few times).

Just wanted to say... Thanks for making my day &&& awesome looking bike!

As far as I understand it, any fuel injected system doesn't push start.

At least not from a dead battery. I'm guessing you can still do it if the battery is too weak to turn the starter but can still power up the EFI.

Every 30 seconds, with it doing no good at all? Too busy cleaning my own.

I end up just flipping my visor up. Chilly air was the lesser of the evil

Not the sort of thing I'm willing to do, at 90-100 Kmh. Not with the debris that routinely bounces off my helmet. Once I got off The Gardiner though, up went the visor.

I guess I got lucky not having to use the highway

Ya, was a bit tricky to get a good view on the gardiner this morning. Though I was coming east from the Kingsway and it seemed as soon as I passed dufferin it cleared right up. I need a set of the gloves with the shield squeegy on them.

Me - black Ninja 250
You - tiny girl on the black GSXR 600 today. I wanted to say hi at the first red lights that I pulled next to you, but your exhaust was so loud, I didnt even bother lol

Tires used all up on the sides looked wicked btw =)

To the Yellow F4i I followed down Twyn Rivers and through Old Finch yesterday evening... thanks for pointing out my headlight is dead and for the tip about the starter switch!

As for the fog, saw a cop taking advantage of the limited visibility in the morning:
