It's up to you who you wave to if you wave at all. If it makes you feel better to not wave at three wheelers then good for you. I suspect that most riders that wave will wave at three-wheelers.

For what it's worth I wave at all bikes, three wheelers, scooters, police and cows.

I suspect the line would problably be drawn at a three wheeler that was enclosed but I haven't come across one yet.

This is why our sport is being watered down .

I have nothing to do with snowmobiles ,cows or scooters .

I bet soon enough you`ll wave at the enclosed three wheeler .

There are few scooters you wouldn't want to try and take off the line.....so in that regard if you don't want to be civil when I wave going by you either way

Scooter no wave .See my other post above .My disabilty you need to get a grip .Read your post .I`m not telling you FU .Just that I have nothing in common with your ride .Wave to other scooters . Scooters have their own community in Europe .

Just look at your picture I see one real bike in the group .The rider was probably lost.

I don't think the Queen's job gets watered down because she waves at the common folk.

I ride a fair amount. I like sharing my happiness. I don't need to ride around with a scowl on my face ignoring anyone that doesn't qualify as a rider.

I forgot to mention I also wave at bicycles and some of the time they wave back. And a couple of times when I have seen them obviously needing help I pulled over and used my electric air pump to inflate their tires. I hope that doesn't hurt your image of what a motorcyclist should be.

Sons of anarchy is for chicks .My Harley has a motor that was designed by Porsche .Just because I won`t water down the sport .Personal insult don`t bother me .Most are made by small minded people .

With you and V-Tom on that one.

I wave to all types of riders (scooters, cruisers, dual sports and Spyders). We are all out there "in the wind" for the same reasons and braving the same dangers.

When I ride up north and pass cycling groups I also give them a wave. Most wave back. It's all good.

You do understand why right? I don't mean to be offensive, a vrod is the only harley I would ever ride personally. A vrod is also a no no to the harley "purists" I think because the fat guys dont have as much space to rest their guts while riding and it doesn't shake apart every 200 kms. This thread is still amusing. I'll still wave to everyone. If they wave back cool, if not oh well. Why is it the biggest bunch that feel the need to discriminate are harley owners? While a can am isn't for me, I understand the like for them. Riding is riding, who cares what it's on?

Ya I think I know why I bought my bike .I also know I don`t belong in the traditional Harley group.I only have 3 items that say Harley .Two of them were gifts . The motor is I why I bought it .It`s probably the most flexible motor I know .

I really like all the feel good stuff from the above posters .All really looking deep inside themselves .To be caring and waving to all .It`s just so Canadian to do that .

It's true in the USA as well. At least most of my American friends do it as well. Some don't wave at at anyone. To each their own. I'll be riding there starting tomorrow for a bit so I'll check if it's still true.

Is it because you feel embarrassed on your 25 year old beater and these asian kids are on a S1000RR or Duc? And they couldn't even ride properly... probably their first bike, bought by their rich parents.
