I refuse to wave to these two wheel up front trikes .

These things have nothing to do with motorcycles .They where invented for people that generally never rode motorcycles .They take up as much of a lane as a car .I don`t get why they wave to us ?I don`t get car drivers waving to me .

Just beacuse you wear a helmet you are not a motorcyclist . Wave to your own(or to other cars ) !

Wow, you have a crappy attitude. I wave to everyone, who waves at me. Car, Trucks, Bikes, Trikes, Cyclists even the cops on the horses.

I don't feel that riding a bike makes me part of an elite club so I wave back to anyone who waves at me. It's called being polite. If someone with a crutch were to say hello to me on the street I'd be a bit of a jerk to just ignore them because they're on 3 feet instead of 2. Two feet FTW!

I've seen them in group rides... I wonder if that angers OP more.

haha... pays to be friends with them. You can load all your crap into the trunk... and still got room to pick up a 30inch TV.

I wave to everyone... One, two, three wheels. Cagers, kids, anyone who gets a kick out of seeing my bike roll by. My cruiser makes me smile, I love to share that with others.

This guy, right here.

So... You are saying you would not wave?

Drove me crazy this weekend in the group ride I participated in.I didn`t mind when they were at the end .But when they moved into the center after a break .They slowed the group down .

Why wave at all?

Last time I saw someone wave, the *****-hat was too busy concentrating on how cool his two-wheeled-wave looked and almost clipped the curb.

Well, there are times not to wave! If you gotta use the clutch use the clutch!

But most of the time it's not that hard to take a hand off the grip for moment to wave (or scratch your ***, or whatever). If you can't drop an arm to wave, how would you hand-signal if you had to? Seems like the guy you saw was probably either new or badly in need of practice/training.

Poor Sammy Yatim waved at the police with his penis and knife from a streetcar which has a lot more than 2 wheels and look at what happened. Seems dangerous, this waving business.

In my opinion what it boils down to is the camaraderie.
If you place your helmet in the suggested position and you require help, most bikers will stop. Even in some cases, cagers.
Are you going to refuse help if the person does not suit your image.
You going to tell them to go away? "Sorry you do not fit my description of a biker"

If I see somebody in trouble I will not discriminate. Heart attacks included.

A dear and precious friend of mine hasn't been able to walk since his childhood due to circumstances beyond his control. He rides a red Can Am and has it fitted to carry his wheelchair. He gets himself on and off that thing without any help, he loads and unloads his chair, even though he can't even stand. He inspires wheelchair bound people every day with his bravery. When we are out on group rides, he rides tail gun. We are thankful he's there, because he does take up most of the lane. He keeps the cagers back and away from us. He's an amazing man and he rides one of those "two wheel up front trikes" as they were called. He's a biker and we are proud of him. Love you my Brother!

I love my Spyder!
I loved my other bikes also and will love the ones I purchase in the future.

BTW: I won't be offended if you don't wave.
