I never liked marine land

Are you purposely being obtuse?

Animal cruelty for human entertainment has absolutely nothing to do with animals (us) eating other animals for self-preservation.

If you cant discern between the two... wow.

Apparently you have no idea how food gets on your plate.

I sure hope you're a 100% vegan.
some people say i am. but i dont like to label myself with one word.*
my personal beliefs are simple.. take ONLY what u need not what u want or crave the taste of..
i wear leather jacket and gloves.. u can call me a hypocrite for that if u want but after a couple of falls in my textile gear, i believe that i need those things when im on the bike.

I grew up hunting, cousins had a dairy farm that I helped out on from time to time. I know the difference.
I was referring to silent_vic who said farms are the same thing as animal torture for our amusement so I suggested he should be vegan if he feels that way.

The worst I've personally seen is the life of a chicken before they end their short lives, and I still think they're tasty!

You're a hypocrite. Perhaps sliding scale vegan would be more PC?

I watched the documentary Food Inc..... couldn't even get through the whole thing.... pretty disturbing. I still eat meat though, but I try to opt for free range, grain fed, where ever I can.

Hopefully the movement towards conscious consumption will curb these types of bad practices. The reality is that large food corporations are the ones who control how the food we get at grocery stores is processed.

yep i am. like i said, im okay with that if u call me a hypocrite for that.

just for the record.. im not against eating meat for self preservation.. but be honest with yourself.. are u eating meat for survival or because u like the taste. and if someone says where would i get my protein from if i wasn't eating meat, im just gonna laugh at u

alot of people dont. or they refuse to believe it. or like i said before we have been "desensitized"*about these things from our childhood

There's a big difference between how livestock is raised for consumption (and people can always put their money where their mouth is {pun intended} and opt to pay extra for free range beef and poultry if they're so inclined), and systematic abuse through violence of animals to force them to perform for people's amusement........for years.

So wait, we can eat the Orca. We just can't make it jump through a ring of fire first? Got it!
