HP pad instead of Ipad

lol - This is a dead conversation. I have told why I believe WebOs is the best, i have spoken and showed the features it makes me believe is the best, all Ifans have said is "no you are wrong" or "HP is dead" but I am yet to be told what are the things that Ipad does so much better? Putting aside 3rd party apps
Some day I will bring this thread back and say "told you so" but most of you probably already sold your bikes and will not be around lol.

By the way, I am about to buy my Fiancé an Ipad, she has a mac, she uses Itunes and it works perfectly for everything she wants to do, she researched and after spending a lot of time looking at the features she decided that for her it was good enough, so for all those reasons I am perfectly fine with buying it for her, especially since in July 1st she bought me the Hp pad.
I am also a very loyal Kawi guy, but right now I ride a GSXR 750, why because it is the best bike out there in my opinion, so I listen to people and I switched. I don't blindly follow marketing campaigns and that’s what I mean by apple people drinking the Cool-Aid. They won't look at what is best, they already made the decision even before the product is out. I can tell you that all of you already decided to buy the Ipad 3 even if the Ipad 2 is not out yet.
I have enjoyed the conversation, is good to get the geek out sometimes

I bought the Asus Transformer for my dad for his birthday 2 weeks ago. He loves it (then again, he'd have loved any tablet) but he likes the physical keyboard and the battery life is pretty darn good too.
Different strokes for different folks. Find what suits your needs. Personally, I'm on the lookout for an HP Tablet only because at this price, you can't go wrong, and there are already Droid-pad hacks in the works. For the price of 2 cases of Corona, you get a tablet. Fair trade if you ask me

Putting aside the apps? Yeah, let's compare a ford and Ferrari, but we'll leave out the engine in the Ferrari.
I think to most, the iPad was the best choice because it was the first, the same OS as the iPhone (so quick and easy to use). Also, don't forget about the support. What do you do when you drop you touchpad, or it breaks (as ALL computers do from time to time)? I know if my iPad goes wonky I'll bring it right into the Apple store and get it replaced right then and there.
I'm sure the touchpad is a great device, but it wasn't worth the price it was at.

Web OS is just waaaaay too late to the game. Just like the playbook. It doesn't matter how good or bad it is, get it? iOS has market penetration, the same thing that gave IBM the edge over Apple decades ago. You need to see the writing on the wall man.

Also, you have to show that you believe, based on rational consideration of all the alternatives, that the BMW is the best motorcycle on the planet. You can use a bluetooth keyboard with any of the tablets that support bluetooth. I have one on order to use with my touchpad

Why pay high price for this, HP is having a shipment coming in Canada in around a week time.

He is 101% sure there will more then 100,000's coming in ,which mean the shipment is at the sea and landing soon, and since CEO designed to drop the price last Friday, There were still many many were ready to ship out from china to North america. Price stay the same for $99 and 149 Until every every single unit are clear. One large shipment around the port, another big lots will be on the way soon.
That is all I know.
