I've always had a thing for older women but I'm talking cougars not mountain goats. If you're referring to her as a "grandma" then I assume you and your friend aren't anywhere near her age?

Times have changed indeed.
Personally, I set up a romantic evening/night and wait until after the end to say it; if it's time.
Also, it may be too early. Usually for the first few weeks, sometimes months, of a relationship they're still struck with the initial shock of emotions and caught up in all the magical goodness.

The last person I said the L word to I was ready to marry. I've dated a few girls since and haven't even thought of saying it, even when it was said to me.
Ive been with this awesome girl for 3 weeks now. All that gets said is "I really like you." love isn't love until its someone you would make long term sacrifices for and youre happy to do it. My ex, I was giving up my racing to be a dad to her kid and I was ok with it because I loved her. But after only a few weeks of being with someone, you truly can't love someone. I'm sure if I said it to the new girl she would say it back. But, I know we're in the "you're so awesome and let's f#*k" stage... And that's not love, despite the feelings were currently experiencing.
Oh, and I know a smoking hot 32 year old grandma that I would do in a heartbeat!

No way he did.. he reply back to the text message with an "I love you too" ... if he lied about his age he is already screwing the first rule.. never lie!
So 3 weeks is ok? or should we say maybe a month...
back to original question.. how soon is too soon? because in all sense of reality... some people do know how they feel about someone.. And while is not like from day 1, they don't have to express it with an "I love you" and not via text that's for sure...

Okay. So more of an update... This guys "grandma" is 36... He is 22.... Be he has been telling this woman he is 32..
I've been trying to tell him that he is literally doing EVERYTHING wrong. A woman this age is probably not looking for a play thing.... But an actual man. Someone to join the family. This woman has a daughter that is closer to my friends age, than he is to her age. He still insists that he loves her, but still won't tell her his real age.
It's impossible trying to talk to this guy. MAYBE ALL OF GTAM CAN TELL HIM THAT WHAT HE'S DOING IS WRONG LOL.
This friend has a habit of never listening to me. The last argument was about him never wearing gear. He said he was a great rider, and wouldnt fall.... And that I jinx him when I tell him he's going to go down eventually. So this friend... (first season rider) gets rid of his 250 cc... Jumps to a 600cc.. And crashes within 2 hours of getting his bike..... Shorts and a t shirt.
