I've heard strange things about Pickle Lake.
No idea about pickle lake.Don't keep us in suspense, what's up with Pickle Lake? I see its the northern-most community in Ontario that is accessible year round by road. Can't be THAT weird up there....
Also, what is ATGATT?
Wow, I'm ATGATT!No idea about pickle lake.
All the gear all the time.
I've had my tracer gt for 2 weeks maybe and I've got over 2000km on it now lol.wow, impressive and yes I knew you had one....got mine in December and have only put 1700 km on it so far.
So what's your 2000km review on the bike?I've had my tracer gt for 2 weeks maybe and I've got over 2000km on it now lol.

That's funny. We went to Thompson Manitoba for the same reason only to find out there was more asphalt to the north of there.ATGATT - All The Gear All The Time.
I try, but once it gets above 30 (or earlier with humidity) I have to admit I start shedding gear. It beats passing out and wrecking because I overheat.
As for Pickle Lake, it's a one horse town. Normally lots of high spending tourists I gathered head up there to go fishing (or to hop on a plane up there and go even further north to super remote lakes) but with Covid last summer most of that wasn't happening. So it was a bunch of MNR people, and the locals.
The whole allure was that it was the furthest north you can go in Ontario while still on Asphalt. Only when we got pulled over by the OPP a few KM south of town on the way in (That's another story) did we find out that they paved it another 40km or something like that.
Given the insanely hot temps we never did get truly to "the end of the road" as riding 80 more km just to get a picture at the point the road goes from asphalt to dirt wasn't worth it. So we got the photo at the sign and headed south.

To make the bike sound like a Harley?I really don’t know why people put aftermarket exhaust on jap V-twins, They really sound like **** when they do.
Not sure if you mean all V--twins or just referring to cruisers, because when I bought my first V-Strom the previous owner had a Staintune exhaust on it and I loved it. It was just a little deeper and had more full sound while not obnoxious at all. The stock exhaust note is like a sewing machine, but it is nice and quiet.I really don’t know why people put aftermarket exhaust on jap V-twins, They really sound like **** when they do.
Mines a 2019 with 12000km on it now, and its bone stock. So what's your 2000km review on the bike?
Remind me again - is yours the 2019 or a newer one?
