Historical day for Palestinians!

You bet. They did great throughout history setting up their own countries that are modern and civilized.... oh crap. No they didn't. Jews never set up any country, they were A PART of many countries. The jews living in Palestine were given what they needed and allowed to oppress the people that they lived next to for millenia.

Let's not forget that Jews and Israelis are not the same thing. One is a people that believe in the same fairy tale, and the other one are people from the same country.

Just curious, why are you so pro Israel?

because sonnythejew?

Did you take a look at the news in the 90's? Most of the weapons carried by the Israelis were American.
They US sponsored them by providing weapons

US tax dollars were given to Israel in "aid" as long as they bought weaponry from private corporations in the US. Money on congressmen well spent

Judaism opposes the idea of a Jewish country.

"I should much rather see reasonable agreement with the Arabs on the basis of living together in peace than the creation of a Jewish state. …the essential nature of Judaism resists the idea of a Jewish state with borders, an army, and a measure of temporal power….I am afraid of the inner damage Judaism will sustain – especially from the development of a narrow nationalism within our own ranks…"

Big difference here is Israel employs and provides medical care to Palestinians in their hospitals. Arabs and Muslims want Israel wiped off the map. You can't have peace when illiterate backwards psychos will blow themselves up

I dont think you understand any of our points here or you do and pretend that you dont lol
If Israel wasnt there stealing land beyond its 48 borders and if it wasnt because of their apartheid state and blockade and illegal settlements, Palestinians wouldnt need their barely sufficient donations. In fact if the blockade is lifted off, may countries are ready to donate much more than Israel does. And a recently leaked document shows that Israeli government has done a calculation of how many calories a Palestinian should be allowed to eat per a day!!!
Oh and if they received half of the weaponry that Israelis get from the U.S, they wouldn't blow themselves up either. They blow themselevs up because they dont have any other option.

Look outside the US where the majority are. The anomaly in the US is more wealthy ones would move there vs say holland

Well you asked if they prosper in other countries.... I said yes they do here is some data...

I don't see why the US isn't an example other than the fact that it doesn't support what you were saying. - they have the largest iranian population outside of Iran so... I see that as a good representation.

Iran also had a high per capita GDP, same as Iraq, before much of this happened.

Its just data, and that data doesn't support the "cultural" argument that you are advancing.

I would also point out that you don't see that violence here, and muslims and jews for the most part get along fine in North America, so clearly they can get along, that suggests a regional conflict, not a religious one.

That being said. I am not on a side here.

Also since Sonny mentioned the attitude towards women and work place and in general id say. There are two different points here, if were talking about the Islamic teachings and how it talks about women, then we should talk about Judaic teachings on the same subject. ill have you know (ironically) that Judaism is much more strict and "old-fashined" in regards to these issues. and no Im not religious and in no way trying to defend Islam since i dont agree with any of it either. But if were comparing, lets compare apples to apples. The second scenario is comparing governments and not religions, in which case your arguments is invalid since you used the term Jews and not people of a certain country.

I am not sure why this is addressed at me. My point is that I don't think their economic situations are a result of their "cultural/religious" differences and that I think the data supports my view.

Of course it matters. For sure the most successful and educated in each group would go to the US

Why did they destroy all the infrastructure and greenhouses in gaza that the israelis left intact for them? In fact Jewish US citizens paid for the equipment for the palestinians to use after Israel pulled out and the Palestinians destroyed all the technology that turned the desert into farmland to grow food. Any assistance they get is useless cause they can't act right.

Thats what makes the US a good example, because its a country of immigrants... so we are really comparing the most sucessful and educated to the most successful and educated...

the US is the richest country in the world and it seems like everyone co-exists just fine, has jobs, makes money, has families, gets educated... so on.

you get your occational stove burning *******, i get that, but if it was "cultural", they should have imported their problems wholesale and that hasn't happened.

All I am saying is that if it is as "cultural" as you say, then the problem should also exist in the US... If you agree that it is not something that applies to the most sucessful and educated, then that really isn't cultural is it? That would make it about economics, and circumstance, not "culture".

Ive heard this before. I dont know who is teaching in what school that Palestine was a baren land before Israel came? Palestine was a normal land with farms and markets and in fact a notable Jewish population that lived there as wall to wall neghbours. People need to stop skewing history and facts. ALl of this went down to hell when Israel came and forced them out of their home and farms with the backing of the UK and US.

No...the best always rise above the culture

No...the best always rise above the culture

Isn't that just saying that all humans want the same thing? (I think they do).

Then that really isn't "culture".

That doesn't address at all what I said.... read the article. You said that Palestinians get no help from the west, when the fact is in this one case alone US Jews paid 14 million to buy the infrastructure for the Palestinians to have for food production immediately when israel withdrew from Gaza. And the palestinians destroyed it. morons and beyond help
