No courts.
He'll have to wait until Tuesday the earliest.
Hmmmm. Trudy's C-48 says 24 hr. max.
It's a very complex issue, trying to fix problems that should have been foreseen a century ago.
Kinda sad that the province has to step in.On the out of control bicycle issue the provincial conservatives have taken a stance that the the city's bike lane goals have to be controlled. The city, in essence, replied "Mind your own business"

Because they don't really want to do anything to fix decades of bad planning, instead we get least effort solutions, of more stop signs, traffic lights, and red paint for bus lanes. Instead of better planned or improved infrastructure. I feel the city will grind to a halt in a few more years. No wonder Doug threw out the wild idea of a tunnel.I wish the province stepped in to regulate the power municipalities wield over citizens when it comes to creating congestion. The number of new stop signs, traffic lights, and reductions to provincial speed limits is mind-blowing.
Doesn't Doug have anything better to concern himself with - like the rest of Ontario ?On the out of control bicycle issue the provincial conservatives have taken a stance that the the city's bike lane goals have to be controlled. The city, in essence, replied "Mind your own business"

I wish Doug would stay in his own lane.I wish the province stepped in to regulate the power municipalities wield over citizens when it comes to creating congestion. The number of new stop signs, traffic lights, and reductions to provincial speed limits is mind-blowing.
Don't forget the Ferris wheel for the waterfront ?No wonder Doug threw out the wild idea of a tunnel.
Hey world class city, needs borrowed ideas from elsewhere. our gov sucks! (all levels)Don't forget the Ferris wheel for the waterfront ?
Toronto belongs to everyone, not just a handful of woke city councilors.
Ontario is his lane. If Toronto is sick, it impacts the whole province. 25% of the province lives in Toronto proper, 50% in the GTA.Doesn't Doug have anything better to concern himself with - like the rest of Ontario ?

Toronto belongs to everyone, not just a handful of woke city councilors. Everyone in Ontario pays for Toronto City Council dysfunction - at some point, an adult has to step into the room.

And you lost the election for mayor and still hold a grudge. It's hard to walk away when you still live in the 416 and you and your brother ran the show.
The GTA (416/905) should be a stand alone province. More people here than pretty much all of Atlantic Canada put together.Amen. The city should be spending every spare cent in the transportation budget on the TTC, which was in awful shape pre-COVID and is now a total disaster. Instead they choose to force niche seasonal transportation modes on people while creating artificial gridlock, all while the key to moving people efficiently is transit.
All municipalities in Ontario exist at the leisure of the province, he could dissolve Toronto tomorrow provided the bill passes the provincial legislature. This is how it works here, like it or not.
Just 905, Vaughan eastward. The GTA (416/905) should be a stand alone province. More people here than pretty much all of Atlantic Canada put together.
The Qatar of Canada !Just 905, Vaughan eastward.
Then we could form our own Bloc. Then be one of the wealthiest countries in the world. We could sell citizenship to billionaires only.
