Great.... Pegassus' Plan To Lead A Group Ride Is Snuffed By Rain

A 250 is going to keep up on a fun and mostly legal ride.

It is going to be asking grown ups to find it's mommy on any of the group rides I used to be on in the mid 90's. That's a fact.

That's also one of the reasons I stopped riding at those velocities (when fatal carnage ensued when I was absent).

Look people, its not that tough. Pegassus is advertising a certain pace of ride, and it's up to you to decide if you fit in. I have carefully constructed an infographic to make it simple, so we can halt all this hate. Decide if you fit, or don't, it's that simple. Decide where both you and your bike land on the grid, and make your choice.

How long did that take you to make? Be honest.

You also forgot "Kamikaze Hooligan." Now, I don't know if that is synonymous with "Ding Dong" or if one is worse than the other

oh my god lol how did I miss this. And thank you busa lol

I will admit, It took a while, I'm left handed and use a mouse in my right hand, and I have no fancy tablet or anything. And I didn't want to clutter the infographic with sub-categories.

Maybe I dont get it, but if you have listed Motorcycle Speed, Should the Bottom then Read "Rider Skill" not Speed, and then we need the curve built in in both fashions as a skilled rider on a slow bike would be adhead of Peggy, and a not skilled rider on a fast bike would be a ding Dong. So the bell curve for both need to be incorperated to the graph.

Well, there are fast people on top of slow bikes, and slow people on top of fast bikes, and sometimes the fast bike is on top of the slow rider, but rarely is the slow bike on top of the truly fast rider. Some very skilled riders ride slowly, so I didn't skill was really the appropriate wording. It's just a guideline really, didn't want to overly clutter it with too many scenarios. And I have no issue with other people using the image when announcing a new group ride.

GUYS! I have officially misplaced my crayons!! help!!!!

lol. that's pretty obvious.

I've greased my axel sticks and have thrown out all my special lifting devices. Just need some cross and flat screwdrivers to hammer out my digital speedos, and I'm ready to hit this next ride.

PS. thanks for pasting years worth of humour in this thread. I can't believe i've never seen the mech101 thread. classic.

A cruiser came with us to a 507 rip. I didn't know they were THAT slow! His top speed maxed out at 170kph! We had to wait 15 mins for him when we got to Whitney :(

Hastings to Whitney
Total distance travelled: 41.9 km
Total time: 9 mins 8 seconds
Average speed: 274kph

Fun times :)
