it'll give me a reason to keep posing!

U jelly brah?

No I'm not. When I eventually get around to buying a new phone, I'm hoping I won't need to carry a laptop when travelling

Oh ya! Most of my friends would say I'm a geek. But like the other poster i work out 5times a week and always carrying a gym bag. im obsessed with gadgets. Just recently picked up a Samsung galaxy s2. Had to put down the BB Torch. A few months before the Torch had a HTC Legend. and before that a BB Storm. i have 3 laptops at home newest one is barely 4myths old. PS3, and Xbox. Call of Duty all the time. I've got two monitors in my den with a 46" TV to play my games. its a good thing i have a great job. affords me to make all purchases cash. a good chunk of my friends in high school were considered geeks. Im more undercover due to my build. you would never suspect it if you saw me. This thread is awesome!

Lol, also consider you're asking this on an Internet forum. Of course we love our computers

I guess I'm a geek, I program CAD machines at work all day, have all the gadgets, TV's, game consoles, phones etc. but after a day at work I don't even want to turn the TV on. I'd rather take care of the chickens, or play with my daughter in the yard. I find sometimes it's nice just to do simple things so I can turn off my brain. I love Thursdays, grass cutting day. I ride home from work, grab a beer, and sit on the tractor for an hour, sometimes instead of the beer my 2 year old sits on my lap and we drive around the yard. To each his, her own, nice to know there are other geeks riding out there, cheers.

Yup, I'm a geek.

I custom-made audio cables out of RG6 cable with screw-on RCA connectors, so I can listen to the same tunes upstairs and downstairs! Worked great for my '80s party - 2 floors of INXS on two big stereos...

I still use DosBox to play Master of Orion and TIE Fighter.

I spent lots of time in my youth in front of a computer monitor - thankfully it was in the 286/386/486 era.

Currently going through the Quest for Glory series ;) After that, it's Baldur's gate (1). Don't forget LSL (especially 1 and 3).. Yeah.. We're old-school PC-gamers

Gamer and Trekkie.

/thread.

Hard to beat this one:

-Magic The Gathering in high school (but I still miss it)

Need a thumbs up button for that. I used to write CS hacks (remember OGC anyone?) >=D
You ruined my childhood. lol

I'd say half & half?

I made a girl cry in jk 'cause I kept insisting that the heart didn't actually look like this: <3 and was about the size of a closed fist. We had to make a shoebox with a situation that shows what we want to be in life. Mine was actually a computer programmer who had glasses on (and I didn't even wear glasses. lol) This other chick depicted herself as a princess and I told her that was most likely not gonna happen.

I grew up being in w5h competitions while being captain of a basketball team. I remember in grade 4 when everyone was trying not to be smart/seem dumb to be cool and it just never made sense. 0 losses in pokemon and 1 loss in yugioh.

I can still appreciate gadgets/technology, but I'm not as into them as I used to be. Definitely a music geek, though. Oh, my alias is knowledge (lol). But I've never looked or dressed anything like the stereotypical geek.

Way back when....I had access to a Silicon Graphics Indigo Iris machine which was the top machine for molecular modelling...for the era it had the most powerful graphics capability bar none. I can only say that playing Doom on this machine was pretty awesome...as for flight simulation that was cool too. A prof walked in once while we were playing on the simulator...he asked a question to which the reply was "not now, I'm landing a jumbo".

I voted for #1 but honestly since I finally got into dating back in highschool I pretty much stopped gaming and never got interested in it again.

I even got away from most techie stuff and am more interested in working on vehicles these days. New stuff comes out too often with too few benefits to upgrade so I don't follow the "latest and greatest" anymore unless I'm in the market for a new laptop, cell phone, etc.

I still do a lot of computer repairs for myself and friends/family though. Back in early highschool I gamed a lot and was always working on my computer to get it faster and faster for the latest games but once I got out of that there was no more need to follow it.

Now I find cars and bikes more fun and only have the money those hobbies anyway. Sometimes I come up with plans for little sensors and gadgets to add to my vehicles (took electronics in college) but rarely ever get around to actually implementing them. Plus I need to get into the housing market so no money for that stuff either. I'm still into sci-fi movies/shows and stuff like that though.

I don't play or buy cards anymore or haven't for a long time but I love Magic:The Gathering and still think its a great game. I do play on occasion with other peoples cards but just for fun, no tournaments or hanging out in comic shops.

Its very nerdy though

I work in I.T (DBA/B.I) but I am not really an avid follower of new technology. My current PC that I built from components is from 2004. Its died many times but I tend to just replace was broken (power supply once, hard drive running O/S twice) and keep rebuilding it. Will get a new one eventually. Didnt get a flat screen TV until last year and I only got a PS3 7 months ago.

Technology use to be a nerdy thing but I don't think it is anymore. Everybody is wired now so I think its very socially acceptable to be tech saavy.

Most definitely geek, more of an end user though
-iphone ... check, ipad ... check, macbook pro ... check, imac .. check
-38 years old still game much to the dismay of my wife ... my son loves it though. Started with Doom back in the day, currently addicted to Battlefield Bad Company 2 on the PS3 ... if you are on PS3 and want to play BFBC2, add me driven_one on PSN

Are you really 3DGameMan? I used to love your videos but things just went downhill with all the poll stuff but i still sub! MORE REVIEWS!!!!REVIEWS!!!
