They only won based on Vettels misfortune.
Vettel is a great driver, to be sure. I think one of the best out there.
But you have to wonder if he had taken it a bit easier would the car not have broken? If that were the case would he have been in #1 as long as he was? Perhaps the broken exhaust was a direct result of him pushing the car so hard.. after all Webber was quite a ways behind, obviously didn't push the car as hard and his car didn't break.
I think Schumi will come around in time. He has had very little in the way of practice in a race car since he left F1. His strengths are being an incredible driver, developing the team and developing the car. He really hasn't had much chance to do that so his strengths should become more apparent as the season moves on and he gets used to the new strengths of the current cars.
Alonzo is a great driver and a great developer of the car so the Ferrari will continue to improve.
Massa is a very good driver and a good wingman. I think he has the ability to win a championship if he were the number one guy but as long as he is in the team with Alonzo he'll be second. I actually hope I'm wrong as I like him a lot.
Hamilton is a great driver (I think the best right now for raw talent) and has matured nicely over the years. I think he learned a lot when Alonzo was with McLaren. McLaren obviously has more development to do on the car and has the resources to develop the car.
I wish that Kobayashi had a good car.. I think he will be the star of the future.
I hate to say but I didn't find the race all that exciting. I hope the cars soon get closer in abilities so that the driver's strengths can win the races.
