I don't believe that the Palestinian leaders want peace or the would have accepted Ehud Barak's proposal or attempted to work out an agreement during the Camp David peace talks.

If you understand what's happening beyond what you see on the Daily Show than you can see that Hamas is setting up it's own people for bombings-

Where are they supposed to go? This is the most heavily populated area in the Middle East and it's because Israel set up this area as a huge prison. It's really nice that Israel texts and calls the residents to move before everything they ever owned is destroyed though...perhaps we ought to consider a humanitarian award for them rather than calling this COLLECTIVE PUNISHMENT. Oops, did I capitalize that...wonder why?

Have you met Saudi's king the US puppet? Or General Sisi's government in Egypt(who came to power in a very much illegal coup after and overthrowing a legitimate and elected government).
Of course they are not gonna say shi% about Israel because they are in the U.S pocket. They stay in power as long as the US allows them to and the second they change course, they are out. Saddam and Gaddafi were good examples of that so they either get in line with US policy or they are replaced.
I dont know if you are posting for an audience with zero knowledge of world politics or youre just shooting in the dark because some of these are just too weak.
And to top it all off, you cite CNN? Why not just site Jerusalem Post or FOX? Do you know who owns the associated press? I bet you do.

Israel patently doesn't want peace because it refuses to stop building settlements and refuses the right of those that call Palestine home (in recent history and not related to some book of myths) to ever return. Difference here is that the international community agree with the last two points.

There are plenty of Israelis that have more than one home, one in the US or Russia, or elsewhere around the globe, and Israel, whereas there are hundreds of thousands of former Palestinians without a single permanent home living in squalid refugee camps. If you think that's fair, and you want to keep blindly defending that go ahead, you're doing a great job.

That's total BS!

They can fire their rockets and have zero civilian deaths, they purposely go to neutral "safe" zones to launch attacks.

Yeah, Egypt it just trying to cozy up to Obama, and I am trying to appeal to those with zero knowledge?

Plenty of Palestinians, before these current problems, disagreed with Hamas. Right now though, apparently Hamas has more support than ever among the current population of Gaza. Great job there Israel.

You seem to be a little ignorant of the rights of one side in this current set of events. You seem to be focused on the inalienable rights of Israel but that comes at a huge cost to the Palestinians and is totally ignored. What really bothers me though is that everyone seems to conveniently ignore the fact that Israel are occupiers. Like it doesn't exist, just glossed over glibly. They are currently an illegal occupying force in the area....or do you disagree with that? When Iraq occupied Kuwait they lost all protections or rights that they had before. Why is the Israel/Palestine situation treated so differently?

This resembles something SnowBike Mike might put together, with your endless barrage of Youtube this, and Google Search result that. You make me care less and less with every post. It's like the Jehovah's Witness' that come to the door; after a few visits I grow so tired of their rhetoric that I almost hope the Armageddon they so strongly believe is eminent, actually happens.. right then and there.

I get you're passionate about the plight of the Palestinian people, but when your post start to resemble nothing more then a propaganda machine's output... well.. good luck.

Lol...did you want them to stand out in the open so you could bomb them easier? I'm betting they probably would if they had tanks, fighter jets, air to ground missiles, drones etc.

let me me ask you again in another way so you might understand.....do you think that an illegal occupying force has a right to security?

Israel made an astonishing offer in 2000 in the name of peace and Yasser Arafat gave them the finger. That's when Israel said this will never work and started expanding their borders.

You're right that would be dumb. Go to the Hospital and preschool.

You admit these rockets are useless so why fire them at all knowing that you are risking your own peoples lives? Unless... that's the point.

I must have missed that bit...can you show me where the right of return of the Palestinian refugees was agreed to? Also the agreement to return to internationally agreed land divisions? The stopping of settlement construction?

If one side suddenly says...here, I'm giving you an apple...that really doesn't make it alright.

By the way, did they ever find out for sure that Arafat was poisoned by the Israelis?

My "own people"? I'm British actually but that's besides the point. I could be Pakistani, Indian, Scottish....whatever....I can see that this is a desperately one sided, hypocritical problem that is probably the cause of most concern in the world right now.

Neil i appreciate your critique and i dont completely disagree with you either. The reason for me posting videos of officials or credible sources speaking on the topic is simple. When i say something, people will take it as some random member of the forum has an opinion and thats about it. And i dont blame them because most of us don't know each other.
But when you post stats from the UN, former presidents shining some light or reportes showing the destruction (in this case) visually, it's easier for people to see the point you are trying to make.
Just backing my argument by giving it factual credibility that's all.
But again, i also see where youre coming from. Ill just leave it by saying, i dont copy paste links because im lazy. As you can see, i do write replies in lengths but i use these links as a backer of my previous comments.

Just waiting for an answer to my original question but while I do, here's another couple along the same lines:

1. Do you believe that Palestinians are treated as exact equals to other Israeli citizens in Israel?

2. Do you think that it's right that no one in the Middle East should have nuclear weapons at all......except Israel?

There's a common theme here, I'll let you guess what it is.
