If that occupying force has tried their best to make peace with you and your leaders gave them the finger and that occupying force has the power the kill every one of you with the push of a button but they don't because they still would like to work things out...

#2 Israel does not threaten to annihilate anyone, the Muslim nations that are working on nukes do threaten to annihilate Israel first. Also I don't worry that Israel might give some of their nukes to use against us in the West, can't say that for any other Muslim country.
So you would capitulate to an occupying force? What you are saying is "Israel knows it's wrong, but we have big guns, so give it up".
Unfortunately it doesn't seem like the Palestinians (or any other group in recent history) agrees with you. The occupied usually retreat to a guerrilla warfare scenario and take small, but constant bites out of the occupiers. That's what we have here and that's what will continue. You can cry about it all you like but it's really like saying "why won't they give up? I'm hitting them as hard as I can, it's just not fair".
Israel isn't being smart about this at all though, there's now a growing green light for every nutbar group in the world to attack Israelis wherever they are in the world. Don't you understand this? Israel is gradually going to ease itself into a situation whereby they create their own prison for themselves with zero security inside or outside their (currently illegal) borders.
The situation will only be solved when someone does something they really don't like such as what happened between the IRA and the Brits or the black South Africans and the Botha government. What I'm saying here is that if Israel wants any semblance of security it will have to do some very brave and very unpopular things. The right of return of refugees, handing back stolen land, opening borders, and really treating everyone like equals.
oh...so then "no nuclear proliferation........except for Israel" ....sorry, I really thought that it was one rule for all?

As was stated earlier in the thread, it worked wonderfully for the North Vietnamese, but to come on a motorcycle forum and bludgeon me with it some more as if I dont get enough of it on FB and Google News, well....

Wrong on all counts, I read a lot, have visited Israel and am capable of forming my own opinions. Just so happens my opinions align with international legal bodies and against Israel. Sorry that annoys you but then the rest of the world must annoy you too.
As for scriptures,I have as much time for those as I do for Harry Potter. I have even less time for anyone that tries to justify human rights violations based on these myths. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that there's a serious disconnect between reality and fantasy whenever that takes place and at that point there's really no point in arguing anymore as when you have an invisible friend telling you everything you do is holy and just...well, you get the picture.

Your only argument is arm everyone? I could be wrong, but I believe we are all talking about disarmament, for all nations in that region. You see, just put yourself in Iran's position for an instant, someone says "get rid of your nuclear capability, we won't have anyone in the region with nukes"...then you kindly point out the fact that not everyone in the region is actually obeying that rule, my guess is that you would tend to think that there is one rule for one nation, and another for the other and why should you therefore follow said "rule"?
That's a pretty good description of "hypocrisy" but there' plenty of others to draw from the area.

(c) Most people know reprehensible acts when they see them. Most people have a pretty good moral compass. "You people" is an extrapolation of a tired old argument that comes out anytime the Israeli government is criticised.
