Next time borrow an IR camera before you drill the floor. Yikes. So easy to see and mark out the heat lines. Now, there probably shouldn't be any under the toilet but that depends on the installer. If they have some extra length, it could end up there.
Yeah I've wanted one to balance out the zones better for the floor heating but never went to buy one.
Luckily I had a photo from construction where they moved the toilet flange over about 6", so I was confident on the one side I was clear. Between the flange and the wall I was like 90% certain there would be nothing there, it was the one side that was sketchy.
