Yeah I've wanted one to balance out the zones better for the floor heating but never went to buy one.

Luckily I had a photo from construction where they moved the toilet flange over about 6", so I was confident on the one side I was clear. Between the flange and the wall I was like 90% certain there would be nothing there, it was the one side that was sketchy.

I did a cash job fixing one of those. It paid for my Sidis. Infrared is relatively cheap these day and even the cheap cameras work. A buddy was picking up images on a dongle for his iphone

You can get cameras in the low hundreds now that are more than adequate for that job. If a repair was required, it would far exceed that. Have you turned on the floor since this install?

No but I inspected the holes after drilling and vacuuming them out and they were clean. The system is full of pressurized water plus it has a bit of head in the mechanical room, so if I burst through any line I would have seen a fair bit of water come out (~0.5L). I didn't even see any of the red tubing, so all free and clear.

Also I only went an inch into the concrete. I'd suspect the tubes are more towards the middle of the slab.

Thanks. It is shallow for shingles but that what I used. When they go I'll replace. Drip edge all around. Gutter at back. Replacing in 10 - 15 years isn't a big deal. Roof took me 4 hours to do including drip edge.
I did this style of roof for the look I wanted. The angled cut, painted rafters makes the shed.
 
Tonight is my final fairing of drywall seams on the ceiling of my wife's newly renovated craft room. My least favorite thing is mudding and sanding ceilings -- at this moment I wish popcorn was still in vogue.

I put one in my garage too. Mine Looks like a typical motion sensor floodlight but with a panel on a wire. I clamped it to the workbench with the panel in the window. Easy solution to late night arrival and dark garage. A hard-wired solution would have been an awkward install. I assume that it can't be on for hours but in my application, I need maybe 3 minutes a day and it works perfectly.

Motion detecting/light sensing solar lights. Many styles to choose from. I have a small spot light and a lantern type in my shed. They work great in the dark or when you first open the door. Both will come on initially when I open the door. At night they will stay on for a while (never tested how long they will last). In the day they come on for a minute or so until they detect the sunshine and then shut off.

I have a similar light at the front door. Four AAA batteries last months but the light is both motion and ambient light controlled. It can be programmed for different light and time conditions.

IIRC about $10 at Lee Valley.

Kiddos playhouse is coming along well. Still have to build a door and railings and also raise and attach the pole slide. I ran out of trim so I’ll grab some more when I buy railing material and trim up the rest of the house.
 
Son of a … which one of you is wishing for rains on weekends!?

Practically every weekend this summer is rainy and kills any and all progress.

Yup super frustrating. Need to get so much done and every damn weekend.

Scaffold is $600/month.

Plus wanted to find time to ride out your way for that transformer.
