Wow...that is a bad 24h for you. Still thinking of selling? LOL

Hopefully it's nothing major with the furnace and a quick fix.

Hot tub leak fixed I hope the stupid clear ray uv thing was rotted out hopefully water level will hold. Circ pump start cap is bad but I can give the fan a flick to get it back up to temp while I figure out how to get the lid off the motor without removing it. The basement leak is fixed I hope there is a crawl space under the entrance way the air vents are 4 inches below ground so it was filling with water. Put some expansion plugs in for now will deal with it in the summer. Now for new flooring in the basement.

How much you guys think this is worth? It was there when I bought the house but I would rather have the free space. It's made of mdf. Is it even worth the effort of selling on kijiji?

What is it? A bar?

Update time hot tub was still leaking badly I hope today's work fixed it. Replaced both pumps for the jets and the capacitor on the circulation pump. Will have to see if it holds now. One was a rusted on pita to remove from the motor. Basement is almost painted flooring will start as soon as I get one more coat on dark orange is not the greatest to paint over.

With MDF I'd say free as long as they move it.
Probably right. Moving that without damaging the house isnt simple. I'd probably disassemble/cut it up in place. Save pieces that could be useful and get rid of the rest.

Curious what paint are you using for the basement?
You are doing this to fix old paint or seal in cement dusting, both?

Just time for a new color I have hated the orange since we moved in 6 years ago. Now that I am doing the floor it is easier to paint without anything down. Using the premier paint from CT decorators white in flat. Also get rid of the stupid gloss white ceiling.

Any time I’m covering a darker colour or something that pops I always use some type of primer first. None of that primer + paint stuff.

Buddy is a painter and he recommends tinting the primer too at times depending on final coat.

I used a grey tinted primer first but the white doesn't quite cover it in all the corners 3 coats total 1 primer and 2 of white paint.

Ya…white is always a pain to paint. Especially over a darker colour.

I remember a tenant wanted a white as white colour of the whole apartment before he moved in. I hated it so much. Oil primer was the only way to kill the smoke from the previous tenant, but had to scrub the walls first so it would stick.

Too bad he moved out after 24 hours of moving in.
