I don’t like those comparisons. Texas has population density, socioeconomic, and health index scales that make a comparison using macro numbers pointless. I don’t know how one could compare the two places.
Have you got that Ontario deaths per 100,000 data for me ? Also care to quote a fact I got wrong?knowledge and facts among them.
Vaccines will not be in the masses arms in Canada for a very long time. What’s the rate for Ontario Vs Texas not Toronto vs TexasPut it this way. For the entire state of Texas, total cumulative number of infections is 10% of the population and deaths is at 1717 per million. For the city of Toronto, the total infection rate is half that, and Toronto has had 2918 deaths, about 1000 per million residents, about 60% of the Texas state average. Who knows how bad it has been in their hot-spots.
The overall population density of the entire state of Texas ... is not more than that of the city of Toronto. As for the other factors ... Toronto is not Dallas, and Ontario is not Texas, and Canada is not the USA.
In terms of the status of the coronavirus pandemic, the one and only metric in which they are ahead of us (and it's by about a month, by my reckoning), is in vaccine roll-out, and thus knocking down the numbers, and thus being able to "open up" and get away with it. We are not there yet, but it won't be long.
I looked through it and I don’t see deaths per 100,000...did you see it somewhere in the data?Ontario's numbers are readily available, it's all in here: https://www.ontario.ca/page/how-ontario-is-responding-covid-19#section-0

I'm reviewing some jobs I want to start around the house. Nothing gets taken apart unless the job can be shelved somewhat indefinitely or there are guaranteed sources of the little things that are suddenly needed.
Are home repairs considered essential? it's OK to drive for groceries but is it OK to drive for a box of nails, a saw blade or a 2X4.
How many degrees of separation between trivial and essential?
positive rate is 8.2 percent on Ontario according to the link you sent ....Do it yourself. Divide by the population ... about 14 million.
Cumulative infections in Ontario account for less than 3% of the population ... Texas is at 10%.
Cumulative deaths in Ontario (7698) account for 550 per million population (or 55 per 100,000 if you prefer).
I guess that’s why that are called the unwashed masses.Seriously? you think walking hundreds or thousands of miles through the desert is conducive to regular bathing and hand washing? It’s not a comment on them it’s a comment on the way they are travelling. You can’t see that?
You have to be careful comparing stats, I suspect you are comparing the daily positivity rate in ontario to the cumulative one in Texas. They are almost unrelated.positive rate is 8.2 percent on Ontario according to the link you sent ....
Never heard of it but all forums are the same. Strong opinions mostly wrong, small egos blocking people they don’t agree with , petty attacks , jealousy , differing opinions from the masses not valued and i won’t talk about moderators but they are mostly the same on all forums from the car ones to all the others
That is why they love banning people
Oooops....Canadian vaccines will more than likely be even more delayed ...guess we aren’t vaccinating our way out of this anytime soon....herd immunity here we come
The world's biggest vaccine producer is running out of Covid-19 vaccines
In India, the world's biggest vaccine producer, millions of people are waiting for Covid-19 vaccines amid a devastating second wave of infections.www.cnn.com

Missed that in the flurry of people stalking me thanksPosts 952 and 953?
You're going to do well here poking at the moderators constantly like that
Thanks for the encouragement !
Did you even read the article or just the headline? If you're trying to attach this to the announced reduction of Moderna from a few days ago (which I don't even believe are connected, COVAX is a separate system), are you aware of the fact Pfizer is replacing that shortage?
We are getting vaccines from India do you not know that?
Or are you only cherrypicking news that fits your arguments from the headlines whilst not actually reading anything else?
Do you even read the responses others are making before furiously typing more? slow down hammer I missed his post in the flurry of my stalkers like you responding
YesYou have to be careful comparing stats, I suspect you are comparing the daily positivity rate in ontario to the cumulative one in Texas. They are almost unrelated.
Think so? Here's a vaccine tracker: Coronavirus vaccination tracker: How many people in Canada have received shots?Vaccines will not be in the masses arms in Canada for a very long time.
Hence why we're in lockdown until the above-mentioned vaccinations roll onwards for a while longer ...positive rate is 8.2 percent on Ontario according to the link you sent ....
I guess that’s why that are called the unwashed masses.
Ever met a wetback? Some of the nicest, honest hard working people you would ever meet. I lived with them for 10 years. They know how to use soap, and use it regularly. just can’t always afford it.
