Disrepectful Trackday Riders- Don't Bother Coming Anymore!

Sorry for the thread detour. Back to the topic.

Ya, that Ramon seems like a bit of a dick. 50/50 coolant into gravel after lying twice about its mere existence. Lord thundering Jesus!

Yellow CBR was fast for not having much track time, on essentially a street bike. He pushed it, had lots of fun, but did kiss the ground eventually. Softly so to speak. His name escapes me. RM may remember.

Jamie something... and on the R1 is, Tom?

I'm not saying he isn't! Just saying anyone can post a pic of themselves giving it all they have (and then some in some cases) in the turn where the photog is. Doesn't say anything about who's fast and who isn't

Anyone who has attended Pro6 days knows that "...we're all fast!". :)

I like to think I'm pretty fast, and I seem to be able to do okay with racers at track days, but at TMP I've never been under 1:20. I just never have gotten a good feel for the traction at TMP and always rode a bit tentatively, especially through the turns 4, 5 and 6.

I found the opposite to be true over the years. Most people have a really hard time getting a great shot from the photogs. You tend to have to be quick to get a good shot from them as they don't focus on any specific rider, rather they shoot en masse and often not at the ideal spot in a corner for most riders.

.... Angela's first time there, but she's pro ;)

There's an understatement. ;) A pro championship winning rider.

There was a LOT of sarcasm in my statement.

Thought so, but the interweb doesn't do sarcasm well so I went with it.

Yep, I was there that day too....

Small world. Yes! Jamie and Tom. Lots of memories.

Kwtoxman times were slow back then. The Fast Jimmy's ruled those days

OMG. Hellraiser. Is this the man, and the legend? LOL. I still have the fast Jimmy hat. Wonder how many are still around...

I'm surprised that didn't merit automatic dismissal off premises. Track owners are not big on blatant contamination of their property.

Yes. Back on the forum. Not just posting pics of me... And I still have lots of pics of you. ;) Enjoying the fruits of my labour as we all should, with nothing being past tense. :)

How you been keeping Kyle? Hope all is well with you. I see some of the old timers once in a while. Those were great days back then meeting up at coffee tea or something in Scarborough after a track day or at timmies with hundreds of other hooligans.

This thread just turned into a bromance.

Someone doing 1:17's can't really say 1:20 is slow. lap times at a track day are irrelevant to anyone but the person doing them.

Yup, you would be correct, Jamie on the 600 ( I think it was a cbr600rr) and Tom on the R1.

Written by someone who hasn't hit a major plateau. Three seconds a lap is a massive difference, when you get to a certain level.

.5 seconds is a major difference as a certain level
