Ding Dong, the witch is dead....

Poilievre has had a number of governing positions including:
  • Secretary to the President of the Treasury Board (2006–2008)
  • Secretary to the PM (2008–2011)
  • Minister of State for Democratic Reform (2013–2015)
  • Minister of Employment and Social Development in 2015
While in opposition post Harper defeat, he was the shadow minister for Finance, Jobs, and 20nce 2022 the PC partly Leader and the Leader of the opposition.

Trudeau had 7 years as a backbencher MP when he was elected. PP had more leadership experience before his 27th birthday than JT had when he was elected.

Don't you think it shows?

Won't defend JT's lack of experience when he was elected, that's well known, but as far as PP goes ... No, it doesn't. In any case, lack of any discernible policy to move forwards on climate change (PP "axe the tax" is a backwards move) means hard no from me, and Harper's muzzling of scientists the last time a Conservative was prime minister (Harper) reinforces the hard no.

I don't like any of the available choices.

Thank you - I wasn't the one making the claims. I see 'X', the Toronto Sun and others - hardly the most neutral of sources.
Would you sooner it come from the CBC? you know. cause they're more reputable

More credible than 'X' - I'd still like to see something about the $6 billion claim.
The current mainstream media, no matter what political stripe is too often in the business of creating news rather than just reporting it.
As long as that's labeled 'opinion or editorial' I'm fine - just the facts please and let me form my own opinion.

Have you tried searching for yourself?

How can I search for a non-existent $6 billion slush fund claim ? You find it and get back to me.
I'm not the one asking for the link, just trying to identify what your concerns are

I don't know if everyone has heard the latest... Liberals were caught diverting over $7B of retirement money into a numbered company, supposedly to ensure that politicians would always get their pension even if the country tanked (so the story goes). The story's been breaking for a few days now, and the Libs are doing their best to obfuscate and hide the situation, but... it sure looks like this is the case.

Speaking of which, anyone remember Freeland trying to put $2B into a company that didn't even exist?

Just for clarity, this is the post that brought up this issue. I was not able to find anything credible concerning this, either, so yeah ... link please

2 billion 7 billion, not big numbers when they push for a 65billion deficit.

It all adds up - that's why we have a system for financial accountability.
If there is no clear path ( always follow the money) then the loyal opposition, including Singh should be making heads roll.

Does it really exist or is it something someone read on for instance Rebel News ? I can't disprove what doesn't seem to exist.
hard to find links when they are constantly stealing money and hiding it, I would say if it's only 7billion i think it's minimal

That's what the Auditor-General is supposed to do, hold the government's feet to the fire.
To call what they did stealing and hiding is to imply criminal activity.
If that is indeed the case then the Governor-General should demand an immediate inquiry.
And a website that calls itself MadeGreatCanadianMedia is not likely the best source for unbiased reporting IMO.
