Dallas sheriff makes up charge against biker on Memorial Day [video]

Taunting the cops (brake checks, wheelies, burn-out) not going to get you on LEO's good side.

Just my $0.02

What?! There's a "good side" to be on when it comes to police? Really? Hahahaha!!! Yeah I'm sure they will pardon butt-kissers like you if you go 10 km/h over the limit when they have a speed trap setup.

Because it's so badass to taunt then and talk down to them when they have the power to **** your life up if they really wanted to....... Only a moron escalates incounters with police, if you have half a brain you wait for your day in court.

Do you think we live in Syria or Cuba? If they try to screw my life without evidence and with fabrications I will ruin THEIR lives, they better have solid evidence to charge me with something. Don't be scare of police, if they talk rude to you talk rude to them (unless you are not standing on solid ground, like no licence at that moment). What are they going to do to you? They are just civil servants, not your military dictators, grow some cojones.

Entirely typical of a police "officer".

Some misinformation going on about this:

1. This is NOT the same cop or biker featured in the first and second video. They probably worked on the same stretch of road, and thats probably why the guy got pulled over to see the video.

2. When pulled him over he asked why and was told it was to confiscate his video. That is personal property and cannot be done without consent or a warrant.

3. The police released the second video in response to the heat from the first video.

4. They should have had a warrant to seize the video and launched an internal affairs investigation....

You have rights. Yes those guys were riding like idiots, but you still have rights. And those rights aren't negotiable because the officer is in a bad mood or whatever. Police are in law enforcement, and only the front line of the legal system. They don't make the laws, they don't even convict people of crimes, they can only detain people for trial and conviction, and are subject to the same laws (police services act) as they seek to enforce.

Like I said, do what you want tough guy. The rest of us aren't stupid enough, or just have something to lose. Being a jackass to the cop will do nothing but give them reason to cause you problems right then and there. I don't know about you, but I have a job to show up to everyday and can't be bothered to prove my innocence everytime I feel like mouthing off.

And don't take this as me being afraid of cops, I just know when and where to pick my battles and at the side of the road with possible infractions isn't a smart place to do that.

Pegassus is in another world and just happened to come across GTAM on October 2004.

I was in Dallaas when this happened. A bit of background.

Last year a group of bikers (over 100) shut down a major highway in a tribute to a friend. They did wheelies, stunts etc. and caused major chaos for others on the roads. Police got word they were going to do it again this year, so they prepared.

At various points they had cruisers stationed to stop the problems before they started. Dallas Police did warn bikers than they would declare them to be an unlawful assembly and subject to arrest if they did what they did last year. For 2 nights it was a cat and mouse game between DPD and the bikers; when the the DPD did connect up with the bikers, they went in full force to stop the games and put an end to it.

By declaring it an unlawful assembly, police do have different arrest and detain rights (not sure exactly what though). I am generally neutral when it comes to police, but in this case I stand behind the police. The bikers had no right to disrupt a major highway and inconvenience thousands of other drivers, just because they wanted to be asshats.

Oh this just gets better and better
Keep us post on this Randy....if you can

You must be joking. They will kick your *** for fun in Windsor. We had one cop beat a doctor in front of this office because he looked like a bad guy then the WPS covered it up by saying the doc attached the cop.10 officers showed up outside his hospital room to scare him into dropping charges and where removed by hospital staff. If there had not been a camera the cop would have got away with it There are 5 police act charges still pending for the cover up and the police chief had to resign.
Last week a MODEL officer who does public out reach was caught on tape reaching out and beating the hell out of a passed out 18yr old at a shelter. The people who run the shelter said they had to have three board meetings with regards to going public for fear of police reprisal.
If they can many but not all will beat you like a dog if they think they can get away with it The WPS is looking at a 100 of million in brutally law suites.I live in Canada where do you live.Havent had to many runins with the PO PO have you.

He lives in lala land most likely. I've seen plenty of boys like him before, quick to act like they're badass, but are usually the first ones to cowar when things get tough.

It is surprising how many people can look at the video as is and think what was done is acceptable.
Soldiers died for us to have the freedoms yet we seem willing to just give them away.

That rider could have easily run, but he did not. The video clearly shows he moved over to the right waiving the cop to go by since he did not think it was him being pulled over. Do you think that rider will stop next time?

Heres officer Vanbuskirk in action. The doctor had a broken nose and detached retina.Vanbuskirk is now doing time.

This went public last week this officer was featured in the windsor star doing public service announcements a month or two ago.The public comments are kind of funny the actions of this officer are not.

Not all cops are like this I have a few friends on the police force who are repulsed by it .But always remember an encounter with the police is like a box of chocolates, you just never know what you'll get.

What I learned from this video:
1. Stop being a go pro using loser. No one cares about your video until the cops do.
2. Don't ride with a pack of **********
3. Don't talk like a black guy when you are white.
4. Pudgy cops are aggressive and wear tacky Oakley knockoff glasses.

1. So a tax paying citizen no longer has a right to record their adventures? Is this the blame the victim part?
2. What if he was riding with his buddy or GF and that pack just engulfed them?
3. I thought he sounded like a guy from Texas.

LOL, what soldiers died for our freedoms overseas. The only things they are dieing for are influence in unstable regions for future wars. Noone is willing to give up their rights, most of us are just saying it's stupid to be confrontational with a cop. All the freedom in the world isn't going to change that fact, if you're lucky you can prove that the cop is an *******. If you aren't, well then your life could get ****ed up pretty fast.

And in that video the rider was acting like an idiot before the cops pulled him over. Not saying that he deserved to get pulled over, but when you ride in a setting like that, acting the way he was then don't be surprised when you get unwanted attention.

^^^ Were in the video was he acting like an idiot before being pulled over.He also stated he was not with them. The camera would prove or disprove it,probably why he was so ****** and lippy to the cop.
We give up our rights on a continual basis and allow government to walk all over us in Canada. We vote our leaders into office then they can do what they want with near impunity. It's called a Parliamentary system. In keeping our mouths shut we give up our rights
