Daily sports car?

Worst ever would be Toyotas (minus the 86).

Nissan and Infiniti manuals are weird but not that bad..

Worst. Ever.
Although I can't say it was the worst ever, I did drive it while it was still stock and the gearbox in my manual 2.4 Sunfire GT grocery getter I owned at the time was better (actually I loved that Sunfire and had 200,000 problem-free km's other than a timing chain under warranty).

My only beef was 1>2. The rest were…usable.

except when it comes to cornering and braking....

You're missing the point entirely...
It's not all about performance, otherwise, why would you buy an Accord?
My 69 SS was pretty dope tbh.

Drop over after you buy it!

I loved that car growing up.

No joke, if I had the means, I'd be all over that.

and a bone stock MINT first or second year NSX.

Absolutely beautiful! I notice you said ‘was’ not ‘is’.

I sell cars for a living, the right offer came along and it was hard to refuse. We'll see what I end up getting for next summer!
How I miss the days of selling cars. Got me into technical sales which put me in my current career….I miss it.

Always had a dream of opening up my own dealership but then life got in the way. Glad to see you’re enjoying it!

Any car with a stick shift is sporty enough for me.

All hail the millenial anti theft device.
i've got a '98 beige corolla to sell you...

@timtune not sure if I've said this already or not, but here goes...

I had a 2007 Miata MX5, manual transmission that was rear ended...had to get it fixed and insurance paid for a rental...the rental was a 4 door automatic Civic base model...it was the MOST boring thing I've ever driven...anyways, got my Miata back and was SOOOOO happy I told a friend that "driving a stick was better than sex!" LMAO

I can't stand driving an automatic, even those CVTs that allow you to shift aren't the same...

finally made the jump to automatic in my x5 after decades of manual cars. i don't really miss it keeping city traffic in mind. i would completely agree it's more enjoyable..but going 20km/hr between stop-and-go traffic, getting in and out of first for 40 minutes is not 'fun'.

Diesel standard is ok if average traffic speed is 10 km/h or more. It can happily drag itself along at idle.

At this point there could be a cool hybrid where stop and go was electric and higher speeds were ice with standard transmission. I'm not sure anyone will bother building that vehicle though.
