crazy old guy in the GTA

I have no problem with them getting nailed HARD for stringing any kinda wire across a public dirtbike trail. If the "dirtbike trail" is a farm access road on their own property, as far as I'm concerned, they can string whatever they want on their own land. The onus is on the rider not to trespass and a person has to be driven to get pretty upset in order to go through the effort.
The police said there's a charge called "man trap" or something? Saying you can't set up a boobie trap, even on your own property?

That's why I kept it personal and didn't get into the legal niceties. Bottom line is, that in an altercation between the trespassers and the victim, the victim is more likely to face criminal charges and it's sad that the society drives some of these landowners to those extremes by refusing to protect them from the criminals damaging their property.

Post location of parking lot, let's give him a dose of what real revving sounds like.

Yes please, you guys were way too nice to that *** hat considering how rude he was towards you.....There are a few things in that video that would have gotten him at least a ***** slap if some of the people I know were approached and talked to like that.

I'd come watch =D

It makes sense. Laws have to be applied on a universal level. If booby trapping was legal, I'd make my bike into a motion/tilt sensored explosive to laugh at thieves. However, it'd be more likely to explode and kill a drunk person or kid that touches the bike. That would lead to a whole amount of stupid in court if it was legal.

hahaha nice video. And good on you for keeping your calm, respectful and witty tone. Had a good laugh

Very respectful on your end. Thank you.

Its guys like you who give us good names not bad.

I work in a Hospital, and I'm sick of hearing how many bodies these EMS guys say they scrape of the ground. If you believed everything they say there would be thousands of sport bike riders bodies scraped of the ground every year in Ontario. If these EMS (tactical or not) workers can't deal with what they see, they should work at Walmart as greeters where they will experience less stress. As a side note, the fast majority of the so called accident victims that come in on backboards and neck braces were already out of there cars and moving around after the collision.

I LOL'd hard at the whole schpiel about aggression when you took a half-step towards him, and him throwing up the deuces when you rode by to leave the situation.

If I were mischievous, I would start crabwalking aggressively towards him from 20 ft away, and videotape his reaction.

someone else complained about him

apparently he is a washed up paramedic who now works in the office doing ***** duties..like washing the vehicles and storing supplies

as for the location..here's a hint..the pastor lives right next to the church ;)

Many Healthcare workers develop drug and alcohol issues, or they snap. This guy is lucky he does not have a college that could pull his license to practice. He's lucky he still gets to go to work and wash the trucks and get paid.

I didn't watch the whole vid, but being a crazy old guy myself, I'm seeing his point more than yours.

Picture a guy getting home, sitting down, sipping a beer relaxing in his yard, and hearing someone crack a motorcycle throttle wide open, in the church parking lot next door, is it?

Instead of apologizing for the sound and explaining, you wanted to argue over who's neighbourhood it was.

You lost me there, as you just seemed to be egging him on, and then told him how rude he was lol.

It might have been funnier if he'd turned the hose on you as some have suggested, but he probably just wanted to get back to his beer.
