Don't be too sure.. Some farmers get steady traffic from dirt bikers, snowmobilers and atv riders who get "lost" every weekend. Making noise on their private property and tearing things up can get annoying. Eventually they just snap. Even if they fence off their entire property, the fences get torn down and a lot of thugs even cause deliberate property damage from the farmer daring to deny them permission to ride his private property. By the time the popo gets there (and in most case they don't even bother coming), they are long gone to cause disturbance at another time.
I was joking. I'm aware a lot of people are not armed in Canada.
I would think that job would entail a lot of physical activity. He doesn't look fit to me

Yes, to be honest I understood you where only joking. I enjoy reading your comments as it is good to have a sense of humour out here and not take everything too seriously. Thanks for keeping it sane out here.
Tactical Paramedic`s have to be fit and tested every 6 months. He looked more like who knows what.

With that being said, more homeowners there are less likely to take it to the physically hostile level because they have that outlet if the need arises and also the dirt bikers are more conscious about tearing up private property. In jurisdictions where all they are allowed is to give the trespassers a bj, they are more likely to dig pits and string up wire and violent encounters are more likely to happen..
In a majority of cases, the property owner just ends up taking it up the pooper from the thugs and not doing anything. There isn't anything he legally can do to protect his property from vandalism and the cops just can't intervene in time.
The nimby in the original video doesn't have a case here. Just a NIMBY prick.

I wish I knew it was so easy to get away with stuff like that when I was younger. I lived out in the country and always wanted a dirt bike or ATV but always wondered where I could legally ride the things. Once I got older I realized many people just ride them where they're not really supposed to and get away with it. Saw them on the road a few times.
Even now that I moved to Toronto I see more ATVs on the road than when I lived in the country. Some guy likes to rip his up and down my road every now and then. I presume he's testing some mods or repairs or something but it sure is annoying. Almost saw him eat the pavement once when he hit the curb while making a turn and nearly flipped over. Never wears a helmet or anything either.
But back on topic, I'd also love to go play around in that parking lot just to troll that guy for being annoying and thinking he is the law.
Maybe. A comeback, no matter how logical and evenhanded, to everything TP says is not needed. It just feels natural to respond to everything thrown your way. Some times it's better to listen, assess. Ultimately you know you're in the right anyway.
Gotta someone with a hacked off exhaust to come with us. I'm down as well.
