crazy old guy in the GTA

Op post the location and I will be glad to organize the "ride for paramedics" LOL. If you would like pm me the info. Everything will be legit no revving engines just 40 bikes idling with exhaust pipes facing towards his house, so IF the popo come it's all good all within the confines of the law . BTW it would definitely be taped and posted on this thread for shites and giggles.

Man that was cringe worthy, kudos to you for handling it so well. Given that the guy is a rider himself I'm surprised he gave you so much grief. Must have been having a really bad day.

Highlight of the video was his martial arts stance reaction towards the end.

While having a bunch of bikers show up and rev like maniacs for the guy would be sweet revenge it would also be really poor form. Just because there's one A-hole in that neighbourhood doesn't mean you show up and punish everyone else. In the end we (bikers) lose.

Maybe. A comeback, no matter how logical and evenhanded, to everything TP says is not needed. It just feels natural to respond to everything thrown your way. Some times it's better to listen, assess. Ultimately you know you're in the right anyway.

It is hard to know... Some turds would see avoidance as a sign of fear and would start throwing their weight around even more (hot air)... but I generally agree.

Gotta someone with a hacked off exhaust to come with us. I'm down as well.

(I will supply ear plugs lol)

It would only be cool if it's strictly Harley riders (and Victory, Victory is cool too)... Otherwise, it would turn into real "neighbourhood issue".

How someone handled the same scenario, in a different location. :lmao:

LOL! Those little rapid fires were pretty jokes. I was surprised he started spraying his face. Drunk man took it pretty well haha!

> 50 men start to lose it...they pay all the taxes for everyone...complain about everyone on roads...demand all roads be widened, everywhere...demand this be built, the other...And cut their taxes... And get off their lawn or they will call the cops, whose salaries they pay with their taxes...he'll go back inside and write another firm letter to the editor of the local shopping coupon news.

Eventually they just snap.
The local police got me to setup a 4g modem to one of those hunting cameras that snaps pics of wildlife so it would wirelessly transmit the images and video any time there was motion. I asked them what it was for and they said "because every time we take down the barbwire strung across the dirtbike trail someone comes and puts it back up, we want to know who it is."

Yikes.

Good to know they're making the effort. What a scumbag doing something like that.

Meh, he shouldn't be so polite if there's someone revving a bike behind his house.
Call the cops and the property owner, and let them deal with it. Why try and be nice about it?

lol. I have to testify in court for them a bunch too. No defense lawyers have ever asked for my record. The crown wasn't going to use me in a case that involved guns, that closed door meeting was pretty funny :)

The company I work for installs a lot of high end security systems and the police never seem to know how to get the footage off them. If I have to down convert the 5 megapixel footage to 1080p (or *shudder* DVD so they can play it in court :( ) then it means I have to testify to the authenticity of the footage.

Seems like the defence wasn't doing their homework

I have no problem with them getting nailed HARD for stringing any kinda wire across a public dirtbike trail. If the "dirtbike trail" is a farm access road on their own property, as far as I'm concerned, they can string whatever they want on their own land. The onus is on the rider not to trespass and a person has to be driven to get pretty upset in order to go through the effort.
