I know some ltc workers that have been injected. Afaik, currently injections are only at hospitals. Once moderna vaccine arrives, that will roll out to nursing homes.Ya what a buzzkill @ToSlow is! LoL
j/k...serious...wtf why would they stop? I can only imagine that it's to give the hard working / non-stopping workers a break for Christmas. Not sure how it's even administered...hospitals? long term care homes first I believe is the process.
I expected better from you trials. Yes, some people feel unwell but it is very far from all people. I dont know anyone that has had two shots but of the handful I know that got the first shot, no symptoms beyond a sore arm for a day or two.Hope ya'll realize that once you do get a vaccination plus the second one weeks later,
you are going to feel as sick as a dog for a while.
Just saying that side effects will be part of the equation, if you were to administer the trigger to all your front line workers at once you better have a plan.I expected better from you trials. Yes, some people feel unwell but it is very far from all people. Good question I’m not sure the hours for nurses and whoever administers it.what are the hrs of a hard working non stopping worker?
lockdown is basically non existent here, drove by the favorite tobogganing hill yesterday lots of adults and kids probably over a hundred. didn't see any masks or social distancing at all
It's not a shot of vitamin C and a nitro pill under your tongue and it's not an anti-body.
It's a little bit of: check this **** out and lets see how well Your body can deal with the real thing once it comes around your way.
Front line health workers can only work if they feel well enough to work, they are suppose to go through testing and isolation if they feel sick.
Are you going to tell your front line workers to come to work even if they feel sick after a shot in the arm or butt or wherever they give it to you. The logistics of this thing are staggering, give the system we have in place a chance to deal with it.
a shot in the arm or butt or wherever they give it to you.
I got one in the butt for a horrendous case of poison ivy. It was a miracle. It was worth the risk.Never ever let them give you a shot in the butt. If they hit your sciatic nerve by mistake you'll drop like a ton of bricks and need help to get to your car.
Well, Home Depot was curb side pickup yesterday... looked at the Conestoga Mall website to check opening hours for Zehr's/Shoppers Drugmart, and it indicates the entire mall is closed except for those 2 stores. And what does lockdown look like where you are? Here it KW it doesn't look like anything has changed except for some stores with curbside pickup. Most of the downtown shops are closed tho.Dollarama and Dollartree are busy as usual.Stupid!
A lot of maskless gatherings outside Tims and Pizza places.
Agreed. My buddies are screaming bloody murder over 3 cases of allergic reaction. I’ve given up trying reason. Not really hearing anything that’s overly concerning about the people who already received the vaccine.
if this is a way to what we call normal life, and it’s not killing people like the Covid then I’m all for it
Poor mink... It was pretty heartbreaking seeing front end loader fulls just being dumped into a hole in the ground...... unless one of those millions of Mink they disposed of held a cure and we missed it
More like Abbott, Bayer or Pfizer is running that particular show and everybody else is trying to put out fires. You make it sound like Harry and Lloyd are running this show.
