Const. James Forcillo shot Sammy Yatim - the trial

Yay, now we only have to talk to people who already agree with us!

Yes, by all means let have the peanut gallery here deliver the verdict. There is certainly no need to hear any further evidence, is there, given that the peanut gallery had already determined the verdict even before the trial began.

Some people are finally starting to get it. I was beginning to wonder if it was worth the effort. You're welcome.

Well since a jury is made up of "the peanut gallery" as you call it, should that no longer be an option in the courts either?
Even if this killer is somehow found not guilty, it will just prove one thing, the whole system is completely corrupt and unreliable now.
Doesn't take a genius to read the testimony, see the video, and realize we have a problem with lying bully cops and anger management.
Anyones grandparents would watch that and call it an out right slaughter, and after seeing his performance in court, would call him a terrible liar too.
Incredible that all those people trapped in the streetcar for a couple mins weren't killed by such a violent individual.

I think if Canada passed a law tomorrow saying you could sacrifice a baby to make it rain on your crops, you'd think that's just fine because "it's the law" now. That's what happens when you go through the brainwashing program, apparently, you lose all independent thought and become a robot.

The LAW of man is now above logic, common sense or even rational decision making.
Wait until it's someone you love, then you'll look at things differently.

Let's just throw out a scenario, your son goes to the bar and someone puts something in his drink because they think it will be funny.
He has a bad reaction and winds up in Sammys position, on the bus, thinking someone is trying to kill him.
When he gets shot dead, you'll walk over and congratulate the cop for doing his job right?

The peanut gallery has spoken.

I looked at the video again and saw the streetcar driver bolt out the door at about 2:25. Up until then all was tense but somewhat under control.

Forcillo arrives and starts screaming like a psychotic school girl.

Yatim moves away from the top of the stairs and then wanders back to the top of the stairs where he is shot three times. A pause of about six seconds with Yatim flat on his back and then another six shots.

If you knock down a pedestrian with your car you can argue fault. If after five seconds you drive back and forth over their prone body six times it shows malicious intent. Poking the corpse with a tire iron (taser) afterwards........really??????

Maybe Forcillo isn't guilty. It could be the ranks above him sending a hysterical schoolgirl to do a cop's job.

Pretty much sums it up for me.

Bump.

Forcillo puts himself into a "life threatening" situation and then uses that as an excuse to execute. I can't get enough of this thread.

you might really want to consider what you wrote
kinda sounds like this...rally of klan members, yay! we all voted and agreed that slavery will continue.

I think you missed the fact that right minded people agreed that what they SEE and HEAR appears to be injustice.

"There's no way you'll ever understand the heart-pumping, hand-shaking reality when you're involved face to face in a lethal force encounter," she said.

"That night was and remains the most terrifying moments of my night."

I guess that's the polite way of saying she almost defecated in her uniform by the site of a lone teen wielding a 3"(75mm) saber on an empty streetcar. If she's telling the truth she's not one of the more brilliant police hires. I hope she got PTSD counselling.
"Lethal force encounter" rolls right off the tongue:rolleyes:

the "most terrifying moment of her life " was seeing an 18 year old kid with his junk in one hand and a 3 inch knife in the other , surrounded by half a dozen cops with their guns drawn ready to blow his head off.Give me a break.Who hires these people?.Ive carried a 3" knife in my pocket since I was 12.I don't think you can buy a smaller knife if you tried.

Blue line, bro. She's saying whatever she's being pressured to say.

As for the guy calling us peanut gallery.... well, so is the jury. I suppose he'd want that panel to be made up of cops, too. You know, fairness? LOL

The other cops should be distancing themselves from this guy instead of supporting him.Cops like Forcillo make all the good cops look bad in my opinion.I guess the pending lawsuit has something to do with that.

And this is why I'm weary of ALL cops. This hiding behind the blue line and telling ridiculous tall tales just to support another cop has to end.

The cops that defend the lies are complicit with the lies.

Unlike the peanut gallery here including many who pronounced guilt even before trial began, the jury panel is seeing the evidence, all of it, before they arrive at a decision.

Who ever said this forum is a court? We look, we judge. I bet you're guilty of that everyday.

I'm confused. You sound like you have come to a conclusion, almost like a "anti peanut gallery" conclusion....all while not seeing anymore evidence then the rest of us.

It is sad that the Police do not seem to value their integrity personally and as an organization. I guess it's and institutionalized mindset, hopefully it will change because they are damaging their value in society.

Perception is so low that as a society we refer to police who are just doing their job as 'Good Cops'. Its expected that just being an officer infers some less than stellar characteristics that society feels to point out the good ones from just 'cops'.

Unfortunately it's almost any group. Human nature? Cops are supposed to be held to a higher standard due to their position. As are priests. Unfortunately the bad apples drive down the group.
