Abstract

I first replicate Donohue and Levitt's results for violent and property crime arrest rates. I apply their data and specification to an analysis of age-specific homicide rates and murder arrest rates. The coefficients on the abortion rate have the wrong sign for two of the four measures of crime and none is statistically significant at conventional levels. I then use the legalization of abortion in 1973 to exploit two sources of variation: between-state changes in abortion rates before and after Roe, and cross-cohort differences in exposure to legalized abortion. I find no meaningful association between abortion and age-specific crime rates.

I think you need to look up causality. Show me how the number of abortions in an area affects the crime rate.

I'll bet lots of the pro choice women are also pro mandatory vaccine...

"The government can't tell me what to do with my body"

"The government must force everyone to get vaccinated"

If abortion was contagious and therefore a public health issue then there may be a point.

Instead it’s not and remains a private health issue, therefore there’s no comparison.

"on Wednesday the (Texas) legislature passed a border law that allocates $1 billion to continue building Trump’s wall."

$1B? For a wall (that get's decimated yearly by flooding)? The state can't even afford to update the hydro grid to keep lights/heat on in a storm.

You really need to update your news source

It was reported that the floods didn’t take the wall out because of crappy workmanship. that they didn’t open them to let the water flow.

But hey you keep your hook in the water

Or is it.?

I guess it depends on how one chooses to rationalize their position.
Some believe it's a health issue some believe it's a deeper moral one...

There will likely never come a time when there is consensus on the issue.

The part he put in italics.
The part i was referring to is the flood wrecked the wall.

This part

He'll be back. The dog is probably taking him for a walk.

science wise and health wise there’s a consensus already…it’s only the religious that have an issue with it

Which they don't open because they would have a wall with sections removed for 3 months of the year. I guess you didn't read (or understand) that part.

Well they have a new president that can change it.

Pointing the finger at trump for all the stupid in the states is just overdone at this point
The only way he can change it is IF a Republican Supreme Court Justice dies/resigns before the mid terms. The President cannot unilaterally control States rights.

How about a link to that?

What i seen looked like it was hinges.
I guess with these kind of donations they are able to repair it
