How about a link to that?

What i seen looked like it was hinges.
I guess with these kind of donations they are able to repair it

There are actual gates. Good luck opening them all before the rains hit (then closing them after). The only option is to leave them open during the monsoon season.

Luckily it's wind proof.

Oops.

You do realize the part that tipped was still under construction and not complete?

LOL 😂

Abortions are between the women, her doctor and whatever deity she believes in while on the table.

Men make up all sorts of excuses about contraceptives, keeping her legs closed, not dressing like a slut. But in the end it is the man who's the idiot and fills her up with sperm.

Instead of worrying if a women is getting too many abortions, let's start chemically castrate men who end up causing two or more abortions.

Jeebus! When do we start chopping off thieves hands?

The abortion debate really has nothing to do with when life begins. This debate is strictly a chauvinistic religious based debate.

Everyone who argues that "pro-life" stance inevitably lets their true colors come out when they make comments such as "she should use contraceptives", "she should keep her legs closed", "she shouldn't dress that way", "she shouldn't be so easy", etc. Which are often the same arguments these men use against rape victims.

Forgetting that the blame lies just as much with the men who can't keep it in their pants. So if abortions are so wrong in their mind, let's institute a punishment for these men who cannot control themselves and knock up women which result in abortions.

This has nothing to do with the various an eye for an eye punishment systems in this world. It's strictly practical. If you want to end abortion, you make both guilty parties pay for it.

I'm a little torn on this matter.

Personally I don't have an issue with abortion though I don't feel my tax dollars should be paying for it unless the pregnancy poses an immediate health risk to the mother or there is a defect.

But on the other hand kids born to single mothers are much more likely to become criminals and a drain on society, costing a lot more tax dollars in incarceration and rehabilitation programs...

They can also realize that it's supposed to be a democracy, not a theocracy. If they want a theocracy I'm sure 8 of the 9 theocratic shitholes would welcome them.
When a democratic govt enacts legislation, whether popular or not, that is democracy.

I have NO idea how a single parent is able to raise kid(s) all on their own.
It is extremely challenging with two parents / guardians...let alone one!
If you're a parent, you figure it out.
It would be nice if there were more resources for single parents, even here in enlightened Canada.

I’m not a religious person but, I don’t think it’s as simple as this.

As a father of both daughters and a son, I’m always concerned. Not of what they wear, how they look but how they approach sexual relationships with others. In the moment, most young folks are lead by hormones over rational thought. Birth control might not be top of mind for either party.

If abortion is simply thought of as a way of birth control and can occur at any time during the pregnancy, that is a concern. Not only to the woman.

So the question is, what is acceptable or not?

While I disagree with the Texas law, it may have some give it more thought towards how and when they engage in sexual activity.

Again, I’m not a pro life advocate and believe Canada manages abortion pretty well.

And this isn’t to argue with you. It’s just a thought about the point you’ve made.
