Oooooh... I've been counter-trolled... by the blind! So much fail in this thread.
so what am I doing wrong ?

I tried putting oil on my tires to cook the chicken strips, but all it did was make it more slippery. WTF?
You might have been better off without the edit. I was just asking a simple question to roughly gauge how much experience you might have with different motorcycles. If you've owned several bikes and, better yet, have changed tires on a few, then you may be able to better understand some of the variables involved. Apparently asking you questions seems to upset. Sorry I bothered, I was just trying to help.
No hostility here. Apparently the sarcasm was a mistake - apologies. You're the one taking things out of proportion. Hope you find the answers you're looking for. Have a nice weekend.
Tree killer!Oh hey, i dug up a pic of one of my street bikes... no chicken strips on this, baby!
A friend that i do DOCC Mosport with is always ****** that he can't keep up with the Muffin on his 749.His tires (same as mine/same pressures) are always shagged. My tires are nicely worn with a little chicken strip still (lap times are about 1:40).He says he has a knee down in a few places. The only place my knee is down is sometimes in t10.
My point is this.Suspension setup and rider style has a lot to do with going fast and tire wear.
Chicken Stips, LOL Not on this (Picture taken from the trailer towing thread) Two bikes, same corner, one leaned over so no chicken strips, other did not have to lean at all to make the same turn at the same speed! So BIG Strips!
190s on a 600ss. I have chicken strips. So many variables that this argument is useless.

as you can see I was riding hard but its impossible to get rid of chicken strips when running bigger tires on stock rims...I do not regret it though, I would pick these tires over stock sized bias-ply ones any day.
