I was wondering about any delay affecting the settlement and also the ticket being a warning to be more careful. One ticket would cause me to use more caution but if the ticket was delayed by weeks and I hadn't been taught the lesson there could be a stack of the things.

It's how we roll, buddy.

CPC must have enlisted all the V-Strom owners on GTAM and given each of them a truck to help deliver the mail.

That’s how they got the job done. No clapped out camshafts of broken shaft drives slowing down the show.

You just need to try your key in 6 or 7 vehicles in the parking lot before you figure out which one is yours...
I guess you’ve never had a Vstrom.

There’re like the Bixy bikes downtown, you just grab one - they all use the same key.

You know you can just leave the key in the ignition.

Never heard of a VStrom being stolen. Unless you rebrand it with Ducati stickers.

Stop any bike from being stolen. Just buy one of these:

I'll let my insurance know that I have a new anti theft device when I renew .

Anyone notice that mail coming in is very slow? I.e.: 1 piece of mail / day. That's what we've been getting. A single piece.

Is it possible the posties are butt hurt they got mandated back to work and are just being d%@ks about it? Sort of like 'work to rule' type of thing?

I'll assume we can't do / prove anything as they'll just say 'well that's all we had for you today' but reddit (I know I know) is really putting in 'reports' of posties mucking around with misdirection of packages, breaking of equipment on purpose, and refusing to drive trucks... (once again...reddit...so take with a big grain of salt).
Just the wrong thoughts here.
We are being denied overtime work. (Against the CBA that the CIRB stated would go back into effect immediately upon force back to work).

On Monday and Tuesday this week, we had 31 and 25 relay bags full of mail come back. It was basically 100% coverage. They pay a subcontracted delivery company $2 per bag for delivery. Posties need to take cabs around to pick up the bags and return to depot.

To avoid overtime costs, they did not run the mail Sortation plants past first shift on New Year’s Eve.
As a result, today, we had about 50 pieces of mail per route.

Our regional director informed us that we will likely get slammed a bit tomorrow, and Monday will be an absolute gong show.
Chances are relay bags will be brought back to the depot again both days, and they will have to pay someone else to deliver those bags, as it would make a ton of work for the postie to put the mail back into the sorting case with the next Day’s mail, forcing more overtime.

You can’t blame the posties or the union for sporadic mail at the moment. Hours are all being controlled my management playing silly games.

Went to the post office and picked up a bearing I ordered from Partzilla on November 13th. Once again a USPS cross border delivery with no extra duty or costs.

Lucky you… guessing the customs dept is overwhelmed by the number of parcels and is fast tracking everything under a certain value amount.
