Cagers and how they drive.

I can sum up what I see very easily. It takes no skill to press the accelerator down and people in expensive cars seem to do this with great pride.
Sadly what they have in money they lack in skill, common sense, awareness, and most of all patience.
I see the same thing with many transport drivers.

It won't get any better.
Don’t forget motorcycles in that generalization! We’re people too!

should not have someone pass me in the right hand lane doing 160-180kmh every single time I'm on the 401 when I'm already doing 130 in the left.
I'm sorry, but according to the rules, you should be in the left lane only when you are overtaking, no matter what speed you are doing - 100, 130 or 250. If someone is overtaking you on the right - you are in the wrong here.

I based my original reply on the OP. This line in particular: And at least 3/4 of them are in a BMW.
But if we talk motorcycle the only matters of concern are what oil to use and loud pipes... :ROFLMAO:

BMW makes motorcycles as well, sooooooooo....
Well since the thread title is

Cagers and how they drive.

I made an educated guess that the OP was referring to BMW as in the car.
But if you want to be more right, I can dig it..

Come to think of it, it's more the SUVs ! And to be clear, I don't have anything against the brand. I'd be OK with owning one, as long as the suspension was plush. Buddy of mine had one of those X6 SUV-ish things and the suspension seemed to be tuned for handling, not a smooth ride.

This is true and actually the reason I opted for the X5 over the competition; it doesn’t handle like a boat. There’s near zero body roll while throwing it around and that’s in comfort mode (has adaptive suspension). It’s certainly not as quiet (run flats) or cushy as my friends Benz but I can’t deal with obscene body roll.

If I'm in the left and passing traffic on my right it's no problem. And even less of a problem to move over for people behind me catching up, but give me a break I check my mirrors compulsively and people still catch me off guard when they're excessively speeding. You're right though, lets finger wag to the person that gets passed at double the speed limit by traffic weavers. Maybe I'll just wring the bike out and not let them pass me next time, not like laws apply to anyone when they aren't enforced.

No matter what vehicle you drive you can be a douche and drive like one.
As the price goes up so does the likelihood of "self-importance"

I dunno. I see a fair amount of entitlement across the spectrum. See the guy in the RR who couldn’t care less if his driver is doing 120+ in the left lane or not and the father of 3 in a Kia spectra weaving lanes like it’s the Grand Prix.

I said pretty much the same thing...

Well, you are the one who wanted rules enforcement. But I guess you want it only when it's about the others ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I suppose I don’t quite agree with the last part.

Imo it’s more of a perspective. Majority of people are not wealthy, so we (non ballers) tend to hang onto stuff the wealthy do more then Joe Plumber. Douche in his Ferrari f40 cuts you off and you’re talking about it for weeks. Guy in the Corolla does it and you roll your eyes, maybe tell your spouse when you get home that you encountered ‘another one’. There are also far less ballers then not.

Is bmw baller status? Maybe again perspective? My 40k X5 was 80+ brand new, it wasn’t pocket change to me but I could swing it without batting an eyelash. Maybe plenty of people on here would never drop 40 large on a vehicle, never mind a used German one.

All that being said, there’s some merit to your point (I get it), I’m just not sure I agree with it.

seems like you're basing on an assumption that I'm a left lane camper? I don't know either.
