"Stand Up for Toronto – Let’s Demand Rob Ford’s Resignation" event on Facebook has joined forces with www.fordmustgo.com

How come Ford supporters don't organize a rally to cheer up the mayor?
Is it because (like it has been written here previously) Ford supporters are not involved in social media?
Or is it because, by now, it's a matter of jumping ship?
Are people who voted for Ford ashamed yet? No more Ford Nation?
What's the deal?
When was the last time you tried to organize anything in suburbia? The opposition is in downtown Toronto. Ford's supporters are in the 'burbs.
To be fair, Ford is the mayor of Toronto, not the suburbs.

He's the mayor of all Toronto but his greatest support came from places line Scarborough, Etobicoke, etc.. They are suburbs of Toronto
Pfff politicians has been caught with their pants down before. Pardon the pun, Clinton has been caught getting a BJ, mayor of NY has been caught with a prostitute and some other mayor has been caught doing bad things & still stayed in office. I highly doubt they can throw him out because of a "phantom" video

Yep, I was confused too!
What about me, since I live in the 905 area? Is that the suburb of the suburbs?
I still wonder why his supporters don't try to organize something significant... I see a bunch of them posting on forums, so they do have internet access...

It was Marion Barry in Washington. But - rather than stay in office, he stayed in jail for a while.
He loved his crack................and whores.................and crackwhores.
They even make mention of Mr Ford in Barry's wiki notes:

Funny thing; Barry couldn't run for re-election because of the charges/conviction but later got back onto city council, then got re-elected as mayor after that. "The devil you know"?
And if we broaden the scope, we should all come to the same conclusion. Drug habits are a disease / medical condition that require re-hab / help / assistance, not jail time, or loss of employment.
Nobody gets dragged through the mud if they're diagnosed with "ALS" or "MS" or "PMS' etc etc.

No body chooses to expose themselves to substances that cause those problems, last time I checked the only way to become a drug addict is to do drugs. So unless your mom did crack when you were in the womb it is self inflicted. That's why people have sympathy for those with als and ms vs being a crack headAnd if we broaden the scope, we should all come to the same conclusion. To my mind any addiction, that impacts job performance, is a cause for firing. If it doesn't, then who cares?
I also believe that everyone is an addict in waiting, who just hasn't found the thing that tweaks their brain chemistry just right yet.
