I actually respect Carney, if he was at the Liberal tiller from 2000 on, we would be in a better state than we are.
But he’s a social democrat, I don’t swing that way. If I work harder/smarter than you, I want more rewards. If you can work to provide for yourself, I think you own getting a paid for your work, not by my taxes. I don’t want to take a punishing stand as a nation or a Canadian on climate change or immigration while the world’s largest polluters keep puffing. I don’t want to suffer globalism ideology costs at a time when most nations are focussing on their own well being.
And I want a PM who’s comfortable having coffee at my house.
I’m having a huge problem with Mark Carney for a number of reasons. He has been Justin’s appointed advisor for the last 5 years(unelected) so he bears some responsibility for this train wreck called the Liberal Party. He holds 3 passports , not even sure if he’s paying taxes or owns a home in Canada. He has support of most of Justin’s closest cabinet members as well as Justin himself. He stands a good chance of being appointed, not elected, Prime Minister. He announces his run for Prime Minister on an American talk show. Anyone that votes for this guy thinking he represents change is in for a big disappointment, we are just going to get 4 more years of a corrupt, incompetent Liberal government. Do you think this guy could possibly represent the average guy’s best interest? He’s an elitist just like Justin and has no comprehension of the hardships average Canadians are faced with.
You have to go down a (shallow) rabbit hole to find any reference to this. The government has tried their hardest to scrub it from any searches. The man is evil. Full stop.
Personally, I feel that his expertise will bring in MPs that are more competent in scamming the public purse. Fat, clumsy, dull witted bank robbers can steal thousands of dollars. A sharp, well-trained embezzler can score millions and disappear like a ghost in the fog of legalities. Enter coach Carney.

Youth painting socialism as beautiful while simultaneously the boot of socialism stomps them in to the ground. I thought it was obvious.
I also have a problem with a government that actively controls what we see in social media and the news.People need to take a good look at China because we are slowly heading in that direction.

When media reports news, that’s one thing. When they drifts away from news and punditry into politics, they become politicians - not the free press.
Not many journalists fare well when the enter the political octagon.
