Saw the house smoking earlier this evening.

This area has had a few houses burnt down.:?

Mortgage is very manageable. No intentions on been house poor.

Reason for going big is that this will be the last house I buy. I come from a family that moved very often due to my dad's profession, so I am sick of moving, next time will be to downsize once I retire.

The Site looks quite clean and well organized. It shows the sign of a good builder. Have your hydro meter and electrical panel been installed yet? Please post up more detailed interior pics when the trades are done roughing in before insulation and drywall......if the site super hasn't kicked you off the site that is ;)
 
Deal with any builder except Great Gulf! Once they got that down payment they couldn't give two ***** if you lived or died afterwards. I live next to a tribute community in Ajax and the homes on the outside are really nicely done. My buddy has a house built by them but I can't say anything about it cuz he literally did the whole interior himself
