Bikes with character...

Apex is a better drive and usually has demo bikes.

Sent from the future

Cambridge is not much better a drive from Etobicoke, probably an hour outside of traffic.
I would also just do GP. Make a day of it, see how accommodating they’re willing to go, give a monster and maybe a triumph twin or triple a go.
It’s peak selling season however

Where’s a good place to look at some Ducatis on the west end? GP bikes is rather far to sit on one or two.

EDIT: want to sit on a Monster, Scrambler, and Hypermotard.

I like Apex as a dealership, but GP definitely has more Ducati's on display (new and used). You can be pretty much guaranteed all three bikes will be there whenever you go. Apex I've rarely seen a Hyper. Of course call in advance if that's your only reason for going.

Peninsula in Oakville.

@mimico_polak you're in Mississauga right?
Id say peninsula is probably the least annoying traffic wise.

They also have peak powersports next door if you're curious about KTMs or the BMW motarrad next door (peninsula also has a bunch of exotic car eye candy)

IMO, the qualifier is having the emotional attachment to the machine to riding as much as parked.

A recent Hawk Gt was obtainable and would fix the itch for a while.

There is a romance to riding.

Will it meet your need? Possible.

Think of it being fluid. With balance. Is this for you? Are you including others?

Can your spouse or offspring appreciate the open air and ride as much as you?

Does it matter?

I love to ride. I love raw machines more than machines that can take you to places. The experience is more important than the ride itself.

But it starts with you. Set the tone. Will they follow? Can they appreciate it? Does it matter? To whom?

Trust yourself. Just do it.

If the Hypermotard is on your list include the Hyperstrada. All the fun with a bit more comfyness (and a saddlebag/topbox option).

The Scramblers have sub-models where the bars will be different so keep that in mind as some will have you leaning a bit more than others.

Thanks! The Scrambler models are very appealing right now. Love the Monsters...but there's something about that Scrambler look...

They're all well reviewed, so that helps. Found a few Desert Sleds out and about, but I want ABS for sure.

With both of my 2019 Scramblers (800 & 1100) I get about 225km to the tank. The 1100 has a bigger tank but it's also thirstier.

225km isn’t all that bad. I’m spoiled with the X where I could knock out 350-370km per tank.

The DESMO (?) service I keep reading about worries me.
My 800 was done last spring ... < $1k but it's every 12k km for the air-cooled engines so you'll need to determine how often that is based on your riding mileage.

My Thunderbird gets 425km ... buddies consider me the gas tanker just in case they need a siphon lol.

That’s definitely not as our to lunch as I expected.

Damnit…
