Bikes with character...

Needless to say, always ask for receipts/invoices of desmo service

I just think about how you would have to sit on this monstrosity. Can't grip it with your knees. WTF...... coffee shop special, if you could make it that far.
He wants $5800 for it. I would think he probably spent more to acquire it (whenever) and bring it to this atrocious state.

I guess props to him for not asking $10,000 for a "rare one of a kind" bike.

I like how the mileage reset when it was reborn. He has put 1500 km on it since he reincarnated it and total mileage is 2000km on a 1988. Seems ashame to chop up a 500 km bike like that. It must have been minty. /s

It will be a regretful impulse buy for who ever buys it. (IF)

Actually he only wants $5000 and not $5800. its a super deal.

Where’s a good place to look at some Ducatis on the west end? GP bikes is rather far to sit on one or two.

EDIT: want to sit on a Monster, Scrambler, and Hypermotard.

Make the drive. If you end up with a Duc, GP will be in your life and you'll be there from time to time. Kinda like visits to a mother in law.

There's probably a Timmies in Woodbridge that attracts Ducatis on sunny weekend days.

For those unfamiliar with that model year GSX-R, the re-welded subframe is actually the only thing I have a real problem with. Yes, it needs some bodywork, but I'm pretty sure that's a 1990+ swingarm on it along with the 1990+ front end. It still has the stock tank, desirable 7/11 conversion, and a Vance & Hines 4:1 system (minus the midpipe). The paintwork looks like it was applied well. They're rarely in this good condition for anything not preserved by collectors. I kind of want to go see it and maybe even make a lowball offer on it. Other than fixing the subframe, it's only a midpipe, AirTech fairing kit and paint job away from looking like this:
