Bike stolen!! Mv f4

Thanks for the support. Talking to security yesterday, it was around 4 pm. was only a 6 hour window where my car wasnt blocking it in and they found it. Loaded into a van (astro/safari type). Ill find out today if they get a better look at the plates like they are trying to find. I know its probably in a crate by now, but if I can get them off the streets its a start.

I hope insurance doesn't try to rip me off.. I've heard good things of State Farm in these situations though.

I've also contacted the service dealer here who contacted MV Canada. They should put a note on the VIN so if it gets serviced/warrantee work anywhere in the world (in theory...) it should get flagged by them.

Statefarm was fair to me when I my bike was stolen in California two weeks after shipping it from Canada. They gave me fair value and also no issues. Lets hope your agent is good as mine was. Post on the MV agusta website with the VIN, I have checked the buy and sell on the MV agusta forum no sign of parts or the bike.

You must feel sick, what a terrible feeling losing your bike. I feel sick just reading these theft posts.

You can buy the blingest bike you want for all I care. But if you park under a condo, be prepared for the possibility or even probability of it getting stolen. Life isn't always fair, deal with it.

amen, dunno how hard it is for some to understand this

Im heading back to the security desk at her condo today to find out if they got a pics of the guys. Last i heard they found the time that the van was in the parking spot, and were looking to find a plate pic from the enter/exit cameras. If they have some, I'll try and post.

Sleezyray - You are an ***.

Would I leave 20 grand sitting on my front seat, obviously not. But IF i was carrying that kind of cash and HAD to leave it somehwere, It would go in the trunk. **** happens, so dont be such a dick to those of us who have some luxuries that you may not have.
I am not looking for sympathy, merely trying to get the word out that if a Titanium grey MV F4 is seen anywhere with a cleaned up rear fender that it is probably mine and I'd want info. If I can get it back, your insurance doesnt go anywhere. If you dont want to help, I dont care. But dont think blasting me and/or anybody else who is in a situation where a bike gets stolen from a condo will get you anywhere.
The bike was a luxury, and treated as one. Used on the last nice day, stayed in when the weather turns so it can be safely returned to it's home garage.

It's a luxury for most of us. All we can do is to try out best to prevent this by happening. Alarm, chaining it down, or a nice German shepherd locked by it. Lol. At the end of the day. If the thief really wants it. The thief will most likely get it . All we can do is make sure it's harder for them to take and make sure we have insurance in it so we are covered in incedents like this! A bike in this price range is most likely leaving the province so chances are u will not likely see her again :-(. Hopefully insurance will give you a fair replacement dollar value for it .

As is everyone else saying non one should buy anything worth having for fear of it being stolen.

You should be able to enjoy your property without having to station armed guards on it. The shame here is that thieves steal stuff. Not that honest folks that enjoy a nice bike didn't do enough to protect it. Some of you I'm sure are the same ones to blame a rape victim because she wasn't wearing a burkha.

Nice bike brother, sorry for your loss.

sorry for your loss , for everyone saying its his fault go f*** yourselfs, cuz if it was your bike that got stolen you would be justas mad as he is and the last thing you would want is some d*** head saying its your fault because u parked your bike in a horrible spot

Bottom line thieves will steal anything even with any precaution the owner does.
I.e. my gym bag was stolen with a some used clothes and car keys. I even pad locked it. Dumb as$ got nothing out of it as I went to the dealership and they programmed new keys for me and disabled the old ones for $300. So really I got robbed twice that day.

Good luck op

Sorry for your loss. I think I've seen you once - gave you the thumbs up for riding my fav-bike ever.

Hope for a positive outcome. I think at this point, I would rather a fair settlement than the bike back. I highly doubt it will come back in the same condition you left it in.

Me Gusta, I hope police tracks it soon.

Check this video. An empty truck comes in and takes the bike in seconds.

Here is an interesting video where a car installed with LoJack security system was stolen by a robber and he kept this stolen car behind all other 16 cars he stoled and guess what, police recovered all of them. Hope your bike will be recovered like this.

This can be installed in bikes too. Watch them all

Hope everything worked with the insurance the comments posted by a few morons like sleazy ray is not reflective of the forum membership. If you are interested in another MV I know at least two MV for sale with low mileage. I do not work for any dealer but I am part of the Mv Agusta forum which is where most of the MV owners participate in from all over the world. Hate to see a fellow MV owner lose his bike just let me know if there is anything we can help with.

Jaw Drop!, Oh yeah this is reflective. No kid goves on this forum. Lots of crying and tearing to the mods will probably help bolstering your muscle against the perps. How dare anyone on this forum bring anyone grief or tears with their remarks.

I see a lock coming.

Am I new?
We shut this entire forum down 10 years ago.
Are you new?

I just bought a Scorpio SR-i800 alarm system with perimeter sensor, and had been wondering how effective it actually would be in deterring someone from stealing my bike. Anybody know of articles about this?

Even though I ride a lil' cheap Honda, nonetheless I think something is better than noting, and I'd rather have spent $200 for something worthwhile when I could easily blow that much on cosmetic upgrades.
