Bike stolen!! Mv f4

Am only ****** because your lack of insight will contribute towards the general motorcycle premium for us all. Who buys such a rare and expensive bike with no regards to it's security? Then ******* when it gets stolen. Get real dude. You had it coming.
Everybody and their granny knows about motorcycle theft in the city, but you had full coverage so you could not be bothered securing it. Your own fault, nothing to do with thiefs bro.

Someone needs to calmdown.

He parked it for a few hours. I could understand being ****** if he parked it in the same spot everyday and wasnt trying to secure it... but just a few hours to wait out the rain? One should be able to park their bike for a few hours without it getting stolen.
Do you lock and chain your bike up everytime you go to walmart to buy tampons?

Sorry for your loss OP...

as harsh as it sounds this post does make sense and brings up some valid points. you wouldn't leave 20,000 $ cash on the front seat of your car, yet people leave these bikes in condos knowing whats happening around the city

Don't be such an ******. The victim here is the poor guy who had his bike stolen; don't try and make him out to be the criminal for parking his bike for a day. Your problem should be with the theives, not your fellow rider.

Heh, that's Canada for you, your hard earned property gets stolen and there is NOTHING you can do about it. This is a nation of victims, brought to you by Liberal hug a thug mentality.

Almost everyone knows about condo bike thefts...it's all the rage. One also knows it takes 30 seconds for 2 dudes to pick up a bike throw it in a van and be gone. Again would you leave $20,000 dollars on your front seat of your car? All the pity in the world to the poor OP...thank god he has insurance. But pointed out it does affect us all to some degree. Condo/bike owners get a grip....not our fault.

i always worry about parking my r6 in the visitors lot when i visit my friend's condo downtown. I always figured its only for 4-5 hrs tops...and its on such a infrequent basis like every 2-3 months...now this has got me worried even. At least i konw i have full coverage on mine.

Pearls of truth here. IF you are going to buy a lambourgini of bikes you ought to have a lambourgini alarm.

500 dollars + 15 a month.

I don't think thats the case in most of these thefts that we have read about on here. Its usually high end sport bikes that are used for pleasure, and most have no security of any sort. (10$ an hour security guard that actually might be part of the problem doesnt count)

I think what everyone is getting at here is if you have a 10-20 thousand dollar bike then invest a little bit in some security measure. Most guys pay thousands of dollars for their bikes, gear, gadgets, insurance, yet won't rent out a storage space for 50 a month to secure their bike, or invest in a couple hundred dollar chain/lock to keep their bikes safe.

What bothers me the most is that ive been asking over and over again for people to post the pictures of the thieves after the fact to try and catch these guys, and not ONE PERSON has done it. I guess if it doesnt benefit them its not worth the effort.

And we will continue to see these threads go up every week and nothing will be done...

useless . . .they will take it use a GPS jammer and just toss it out when they take the bike apart.

You would think so, however not all thieves are smart. I knew one dummy in high school who got busted with a garage full of high end cars because one car had a tracking system that he didn't know about.

The OP doesn't park in the condo everyday. He was just waiting for the storm to die out.

man, some of the comments here are just ridiculous.

So what the general consensus is you're not supposed to purchase anything worth stealing?
give your head a shake people.

You can buy the blingest bike you want for all I care. But if you park under a condo, be prepared for the possibility or even probability of it getting stolen. Life isn't always fair, deal with it.
